Do y’all see this tweet and the quotes under it? Some people have a scarcity mindset when it comes to dark skinned Black women in media, and I think that needs to be acknowledged. A lot of y’all don’t like when there’s coexistence because y’all want “enders.” Some of y’all want to prop one up while erasing the other. We should want to see more dark skinned Black women win instead of tearing down the few who are visible and then wondering why there aren’t more of them represented. You can’t spend a year tearing a woman apart and then get mad when people become protective of her. That’s hypocrisy.
