God willing and if the creek don't rise. I think the environment is too toxic and the GOP campaigners too flat-footed against the Trumpian headwinds. Show me this Tuesday night and I'll be doing shots

We’re going to more than double Pennsylvania‘s minimum wage. Codify abortion rights into our state Constitution. Fund mass transit. Build more housing.
These are the commonsense things that Pennsylvanians want done.
And with a Democratic trifecta, we will deliver on all of them.

The “I don’t think a Jewish candidate could win in this environment” take is so stupid. This is about staunch loyalty to Israel’s genocide and apartheid.
If Jewish grandpa Bernie Sanders were even slightly younger, he would easily win in 2028.

El-Sayed on Trump and Stephen Miller: "He decides to hire the most broken man to continue to run the most dysfunctional White House we've seen. I don't know what Stephen Miller has actually contributed to our culture, our society, in any real way, except to make us more angry and stoke the worst kind of fear and vitriol."

I'm a lefty at heart but at the end of the day the party the cosmopolitan liberal party that modestly redistributes wealth downwards is just magnitudes better than the insane fascist party

This is why I keep saying this isn’t something I did. The people did it. So glad the nation is getting to see Mississippi and all its fierceness. #MississippiMatters
Young Black women in rural Mississippi are trying like hell to make sure no ballot gets thrown out unfairly in the Scott Colom race. They are DMing friends and chasing down people who need to verify their IDs. My story (gift link) on the phenomenon: wapo.st/4AbqTpg

Host asks him twice if he supports ending funding and he just keeps saying “That seems to be the consensus” before saying we have to “ensure Israel can defend itself.” So what does that insurance look like to him? Should we send troops?
🚨Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, fresh off his reelection and Dems’ midterm victories, on Meet the Press re: the $3.8 billion in annual U.S. aid to Israel, referencing Trump’s announcement that he and Netanyahu had agreed to phase out the aid:
“In terms of the aid that we have seen over the last number of decades, I think those days are over.”

I do think this week provided support for the hypothesis that Trump benefited from Democrats nominating three pretty weak presidential candidates in a row. There's a lot of talent in the party that hasn't translated to the top of the ticket lately.

And WOW look at those Abdul numbers. He was the Teflon shield that absorbed so much GOP hate, scorn, airtime, PAC resources that didn’t get trained on Andrews or Hamilton or Jackson or Benson or Crowley or Ford… and the list keeps going. Makes his winning margin even more epic.

I keep getting served ads for Charlie Kirk underwear and I click to see more (because my curiosity gets the best of me) and then the algorithm thinks I’m really in the market for some Charlie Kirk underwear and now it’s like every ad I see
You never hear the “popularists” talk about things that actually happen, just theory
🚨New in NBC News: How Abdul El-Sayed swung young men from Trump by 55 points in Michigan
"The El-Sayed team’s plan consisted of a laser focus on cost-of-living issues that proved especially salient for this age cohort, while showing a willingness to mix it up and go off script in spaces that might traditionally be hostile to Democrats. El-Sayed, 42, leaned into his millennial identity, as well as his ease talking about sports."
"The results were eye-popping. In Michigan, 66% of men between 18 and 29, who made up 7% of the electorate, backed El-Sayed, compared to 32% who supported his Republican opponent, former Rep. Mike Rogers, according to NBC News’ exit polling. That’s a 55-point shift toward Democrats from 2024, when Trump bested then-Vice President Kamala Harris by 21 points with this group."
“Young men chose Abdul because he chose us,” Milo Slevin, an El-Sayed campus organizing manager, said in a statement. “In every reel, town hall, and debate, we saw him acknowledge our anxieties about unmitigated AI growth, corrupt corporate politics, and the debilitating cost of living, and we saw him speak transparently about the bright future we can win when we fight back.”

Lol it was a group of mostly white people who physically removed them. Again, far-right racists just don't get & don't want to get that they're despised by most white Americans. It's going to take a while to set in.
HAPPENING NOW: Absolutely chaotic scene as conservative activists Jake Lang and Thomas Allen storm a Diwali Hindu celebration at the Seattle Center Armory.
They held signs that read, "Deport All Dot Heads" and "Stop Hindu Replacement of Christians."
I just spoke to both men who say they are concerned about American culture being overrun by false idol worshippers and H1-B fraudsters.
Lang and Allen say they will be targeting other locations in the city this weekend.
They have yet to announce details of their plans due to possible retaliation by Antifa and other far-left activists.
Stay tuned.
