3 questions to @DULTBangalore
1) Are you doing the CMP update as BMLTA Secretariat?
2) What projects are considered in the Base Case?
3) What projects are considered as "committed" in your scenarios?
@Tejasvi_Surya - CMP is an important document & the city must get it right.
Rare opportunity for Bengaluru.
- Drivers want more commuters to search for Nagara
- Commuters want more drivers to stay online on Nagara
It's mutually beneficial for both drivers and commuters to promote Nagara & improve digital ridehailing.
Go Nagara for fair fares.
Just look at the sea of commuters at Thane yesterday.
Like zombies we all seem to have accepted that tunnel roads and flyovers are the solution.
Oxford Street became a proper street yesterday!
And we are still debating about walkable footpaths!
Long way to go Bengaluru especially with the car-brained thinking of GBA.
All these projects do not have the statutory BMLTA approval.
Govt hopes that it's amendment to Sec.19 of the BMLTA Act rescues it.
But they face a very real prospect of a rude shock at the Courts
Car-brained thinking has taken over GBA & B-SMILE egged on by real estate lobby.
They are ready with a great App!
Nagara is an award winning community initiative.
I have seen them make steady progress over the last 2 years.
Do good.
Search Nagara for your rides
It is vital to support Nagara & keep fares in control, Bengaluru!
Some hard truths Bengaluru must know:
- Phase 2 cost sharing between Centre & State still unresolved.
- Phase 3 MoU not yet signed
- Phase 3a killed by Tunnel Roads
- Blue & Pink Line incomplete
- Coach shortages
- Unfair fares
And BMRCL talks about Phase 4!
Audacious.
Bengaluru Metro's 215-km Phase 4 plan prioritises suburbs, core city takes a back seat

London is so cruel, isn't it Bengaluru?
They don't care about cars.
Our leaders are spending multi billion dollars for cars & silly London only thinks about moving people.
Our leaders also have so planned that pedestrians or cyclists can never enter Tunnel & elevated roads
Dear Bengaluru citizens,
Please spread the word on Nagara 🙏🏽
After a long time Bengaluru is able to get fair fare metered rides. We mustn't lose this.
More searches means more drivers online.
Therefore community support is the only way to solve ridehailing problems.
Thanks.
Is BMLTA dead, Bengaluru?
That's the only sane conclusion.
GBA Act Sec 15(1) says GBA is responsible to make master plan & "mobility plans" for Bengaluru.
Then what is the role of BMLTA?
What is the role of Comprehensive Mobility Plan?
UDD has destroyed mobility planning.
Bengaluru - We can't make Church Street or Commercial Street fully pedestrianised.
Meanwhile Oxford Street in London becomes fully pedestrianised from today 👇🏽
Now what's your excuse for not searching for Nagara?
Society shapes choices, Bengaluru.
Do we want fair fares?
Yes!!
Then let's not wait for Government to regulate better.
Let's actively encourage drivers who operate by meter fares!
Go Nagara Bengaluru!
Let's do it.
Replying to @ashwinmahesh
The needle has moved backwards on BMLTA via the Section 19 amendment.
Basically all B-SMILE projects are "pre-approved"
And why is DULT doing the CMP update?
What exactly is the condition of BMLTA?
Dead? Comatose?
Brilliant discovery by ASI.
Now it's our duty & responsibility to make sure it is restored and preserved for generations to come.
Fascinating news from Hampi.
ASI has unearthed a rare paired Vishnu and Shiva temple complex in the dvikuta (twin sanctum) style near the Lotus Mahal.
A major temple discovery after years.

A Movement That Begins on the Streets of Bengaluru!
Every poster we share carries a message.
Every driver we meet represents a change.
Every conversation brings us one step closer to a fairer mobility ecosystem.
At NAGARA, we believe that technology should make travel fair, transparent, and accessible for everyone.
No dynamic fares.
Just government-approved meter fares.
Fair Fares. Honest Rides. Always.
So what do want Bengaluru to be?
Compact and walkable?
Sprawl and car dependent?
Speakup & STOP the unscientific tunnel roads and elevated corridors.
@DULTBangalore - Please make public the CMP Inception Report. Why is BMLTA not doing this?
#PublicTransportFirst
Which one will happen first Bengaluru?
1) BMRCL uploading 2025-26 Annual Report
2) Pink Line partial opening
Don't pay BAKRA 🐑 fares for your auto and taxi rides in Bengaluru.
Always pay metered fares.
Ridehailing algorithms game both Drivers & Commuters for their profits.
Search on Nagara. It encourages more drivers to be online on Nagara
It's that simple.
Just search on Nagara!
