“If you no longer needed women for reproduction, why wouldn’t we select them out of the gene pool?” “What if it was the case that [sex robots] could reproduce? How many people would pick women?” Women have been criticizing the misogynistic triad of pornography, sex robots, and reproductive technologies for many years. Yet they managed to criticize the commodification of women and children without coming across as gleefully smug about the situation. One has to wonder whether Andrew Wilson is excited about a possible dystopian future where women are sex slaves and incubators, and children are chosen from a catalogue. Is he even aware that he is describing a pedophile's vision of a utopia, for example, when he all but says that women are inferior to men and will become obsolete, and primarily boys will be chosen? Or is it just a massive cope for the fact that his wife has three children with three different men? Whatever the case, these hypotheticals are not some original brilliant theory he cooked up by talking with his pals. Many feminist writers have said this already, and much better than Andrew Wilson - which he might know if he listened to women. Via @jackneel
