Brett Badin was a beloved, longtime Special Olympics athlete with @somdmo. He'd been part of the bowling program since 2003. Badin's funeral was held today.

After Badin's death last week (the second in two days on Rockville Pike), @MoCoCouncilMD president @MC_Council_Katz said he was working to set up a full council briefing "so we can take immediate action to address pedestrians safety".
