I wonder who will be the next developer to screw the LQA pooch. It's funny watching companies screw up something so basic.

I think it's interesting when people settle in a new country, yet a large part of their identity is based on the place they left. I used to hang out with a guy named Sam O. He's created a podcast called "Africa Af".

Always find it hilarious when I see a female say that she doesn't want to get too big/bulky from lifting weights. As if it just happens. I'd be more understanding if they asked if it could happen, but to assume it will is obnoxious, esp in 2026.

A few liberals I know have been posting about how the Democrats now control the Senate. I can't wait for absolutely nothing to change.

Reading his replies in this thread reminded me this Russian phrase: Мы думали что это самое дно, но потом снизу постучали
Nigeria and Ghana are countries, but that North Korea is nothing short of hell on earth. The people are trapped, exhausted and tired of the choices they have been left with. No human being deserves to live under such conditions.

Imagine how much better the US would be if Asians weren't being held back in arenas that matter.

Agreeing with Sam Altman is the surest sign of an extra chromosome.
I Agree with Sam Altman. First of all, local models are useless, they're dumb and slow You'll spend ~$1000 on 128 GB RAM to run a local model And you won't get anything done with it, dumb models at 8tps are useless A $20 subscription will get more things done And for 95% of the time, RAM is not being used so it's doing less work there compared to in a data centre where utility is more
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Local models on suitable 128GB hardware often run at 30+ tokens/second and offer practical uses; 128GB DDR5 RAM kits currently start above $2200, not ~$1000. datahardware.ai/tools/benchmar… theramageddon.com/128gb-ddr5-ram…

These tard fights bore me. If you think Tammy is any better than Pete, you haven't been paying attention. Both are useful idiots. Tammy gets bonus points for being handicapped, female, n Asian. Pete is the heel. US foreign policy has stayed the same regardless of party.
A Historic Embarrassment for the Pentagon Senator Tammy Duckworth asked Pete Hegseth: "Name one country that is a member of ASEAN." 🗣️ Hegseth: "South Korea, Japan, and Australia." 🗣️ Duckworth: "None of those are members of ASEAN. You might want to brush up on your geography."

People like this are the fucking worst. Use all the slurs you want, but acting like you don't understand why it's a slur makes you a fucking tard. Jay Mohr tried this same tactic with Bobby Lee years ago. Unfortunately, Lee is also a retard and couldn't explain shit
Replying to @sun_iron88
"Brit" is short for "British", I don't know why Brits don't consider that one a slur, but Japanese people apparently consider "Jap" a slur? Why?

Friend's parents slept on a literal slab of granite covered by a small cushioned. Natives have a a much different idea of comfort.
When I first came to China 🇨🇳, I discovered that the Chinese idea of a comfortable mattress was rather different from mine. In fact, my first Chinese mattress seemed to have been designed by someone who thought sleeping on a wooden floor was an unnecessary luxury. Let me explain. When I arrived in China in 2011, I was given an apartment on the school campus. The bed looked perfectly normal. It had what appeared to be a substantial Western-style mattress, with the usual fabric covering. Unfortunately, underneath that fabric was what felt like a solid wooden board. After several nights of uncomfortable sleep, I began to investigate. There did seem to be some springing somewhere in the mattress. Perhaps, I wondered, I was sleeping on the wrong side? So I turned it over. And there they were. Springs! Well, some springing at least. The improvement was noticeable, although the mattress was still considerably harder than anything I'd been accustomed to in Britain. My solution was to visit Auchan, the French supermarket, where I bought two Japanese mattress toppers. Two! Apparently, one wasn't going to be enough to rescue me from Chinese sleeping arrangements. Eventually, I moved to another apartment. Surely, I thought, the mattress situation couldn't get any worse. It could. This time the mattresses were only about two or three inches thick and seemed to be stuffed with something resembling straw. I'd apparently progressed from sleeping on a wooden board to sleeping on agricultural produce. Enough was enough. Off we went to IKEA, where I purchased a proper mattress. And I'm still sleeping on that same mattress today. What interests me is that a bed is something we rarely think about as a cultural object. We simply assume that everyone wants the same thing: a comfortable night's sleep. But comfort is something we learn. What feels reassuringly firm to one person can feel like sleeping on a park bench to another. And while I've adapted to many things during my years in China, I've never quite acquired an enthusiasm for sleeping on something resembling a billiard table. So here's my question for Chinese readers: do you actually prefer very hard mattresses, or is this something that's changing with younger generations? And for those who've lived in both China and the West, which beds do you find more comfortable? I'm firmly on the side of the springs. Preferably with a little cushioning between me and them.

It's funny when white people experience "RACISM" in Korea: "OMG someone stared at me" "I WASNT ALLOWED IN A CLUB" Korea is far from perfect, but the "racism" that people complain about is a minor inconvenience at best. Feel free to bitch when your personal safety is an issue.

The number of retards who believe that the US is protecting South Korea from NK is too damn high.
Consider the geography of American military bases. Bases in Germany. In Italy. In Spain. In Turkey. Bases in Bahrain. In Qatar. In Djibouti. Bases in Japan. In South Korea. Throughout the Pacific. Now ask: are those bases there to protect the host country? Or are they there because the host country is in a location that serves American strategic interests? And if the answer is the latter, which the geography strongly suggests, then the protection is not the point. The protection is the rent. The service rendered in exchange for the base. For as long as the base is useful. At which point the rent review happens. And the terms are set by the party with the aircraft carriers. This is not a secret. Military strategists write about it openly. The only people for whom it sometimes comes as a surprise are the populations of the host countries who were told a different story about why the bases were there.

No way this happens because it would set an unpleasant precedent: American presidents can be jailed. Obomba n every other living president would face the firing squad.
In Tehran there now a replica prison cell where they put a Trump impersonator to serve his term

There are bunch of people that should probably delete their old posts about this movie. If you were too stupid to realize it wasn't funny, you get what you deserve.
Actor Sacha Baron Cohen plays Borat, a Kazakh reporter in the 2006 smash hit film “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.” “[He’s] a funny character,” says Baron Cohen. “He also shows the kindness of people as well, who are so nice to him, but also can expose, you know, the layer of hate and bigotry below the surface that people normally wouldn't go on air and show.” cbsn.ws/4Bwn3sr
