Several people requested an animation the muscles of the neck, so here you go! If you have more requests for anatomical animations, let me know in the comments.

WaveFunctionCollapse Feed it one small bitmap and it grows new images and levels that match it locally WaveFunctionCollapse makes bitmaps that only contain NxN pixel patterns found in your input. Each step it picks the region with the lowest Shannon entropy, collapses it and spreads what it learned. It has been ported to Python, Clojure, Free Pascal and JavaScript, and adapted to Unity, Unreal Engine 5, Godot 4 and Houdini. It generates levels in the game Bad North. Build it from source, grab the Windows release or try it in the browser. github.com/mxgmn/WaveFunctio…

I've used this trick in every comic project I've ever done; It's a must for anyone trying to create the illusion of three-dimensionality. Note how the artwork in the distance has only very faint line work: That's an big part of what makes that part of the image appear far away.

Heres one example. Going from pose A to pose B works alright, but adding in a pose C can really make an animation shine
This is also why breakdown poses in animation are important

Replying to @RespriteApp
Is there any way to enable screen recording by default? I always forget to turn it on

Back in Graphic Design school in London, my teacher always told me that when adding little details, like birds in the background, you should use odd numbers. One or three, never two or four. It creates a more natural sense of asymmetry and encourages the viewer’s eye to move around the composition. Now because those classic guidelines are lost in this generation, I gotta read conspiracy theories from GTA fans.
This is actually super interesting, especially the bottom right one.

I rarely show the technical side, but I just hyper-focused on refactoring our damage/hitbox system Manual work was getting too tedious, so I built a custom UI plugin focused on melee attacks, but the result turned out so well that I expanded it to all type of attacks
