@HMRCcustomers made call re income tax owed despite living on state pension alone, told to write letter (stamp £1.50!) to postcode BX5 5BD, done Aug '23, heard nothing back phoned today (deadline), on hold 40 odd mins, told postcode should be BX9 1AS... why?
The whole system has gone to sh*t and nobody cares except the public trying to get through to sort an issue that was not their doing in the first place. Disgraceful!!!
