Don't get me wrong, they have a right to ban who they want, but we have to stop letting them pose as impartial platforms. And I don't mean partial towards the left or right, I mean towards anyone.

For those of you who need a practical reason to watch your language online... #NASA #LanguageMatters
I cringe at someone even saying "yeah, but what if it makes me uncomfortable?" Who said we always get to be comfortable? Racists are uncomfortable with people who are different from them, should we cater to them too?

This is #fascinating look inside what makes #censorship truly possible. A lot of work goes into hiding pictures of girls in #bikinis.

#Horrific? Or #hilarious? Both? We're gonna say both.

I thought this article was interesting... Have a great weekend speech people

I'm willing to bet that most of the people who voted in favor of this just didn't think about it in terms of #censorship, but if they did, it's pretty messed up.
Still, whoever's behind the account is an a**hole.

Protest should not equal silencing the thing you ate protesting. It just escalates things.

So today we read a story about how #censorship has started to eat itself. If you #silence people trying to silence others, is it still censorship? Or is it just too #ironic for #words?

It seems like this would be way more common than it is. Of course, this is one of those areas where the internet has indisputably made things better - when something gets #censored today, we know it

Unsurprising thing: China #censoring something
Slightly Surprising thing: #China being super into #GoT
Confusing thing: the quote - "I wasn’t even a little worried about my dad being there"

So, basically, what we learn from this, is that there are places where their version of Mardi gra is just a day where they can speak freely
And people think #1984 is science fiction

They just call these articles "how screwed we all are - an update" haha
But everyone in the MSM is still mostly ignoring the power #Blockchain has to keep Spee.ch free for all

My take on it: If you have an opinion on anything, right down to whether you like Pepsi or Coca-Cola better, there are going to be places where that opinion is not welcome. It's a matter of where you can express that opinion without getting your hand slapped for it.
*sigh* so, so, so, SO freaking #sick of these types of articles. No, voices on the right aren't being censored MORE than those on the left - we are all being #censored in one way or another, pretty equally
