I've started a GoFundMe here gofund.me/f78e851e5 And if you're able to help out, I'd appreciate it. If you aren't(and believe me, I get that) then if you could just share this thread for me, that would be amazing. God bless you all.
Got called into HR to discuss my team's bonus incentive program. Suprised they were not a fan of "kind of like a gold star poster from First Grade, but instead of gold/silver stars we use loose cigarettes." We thought it worked great, productivity up 30% since we started.
Pretty sure my doctor is not from the midwest. Don't think he's aware that "salad" means anything with a >35% mayonnaise by weight composition. Easiest diet of my life.

The thing that's so infuriating to me, and probably many others but I can't speak for them, about this cost of food discourse is that, yes, there are a number of things people can do to bring their food costs down to a more manageable figure. But the point is, that they shouldn't have to. The economy is relatively strong, we're not in massive recession or depression. Tactics to survive those event's shouldn't be necessary at the moment, they should be optional for the more frugally minded. The problem is, and always has been, that our government is making our hard work worth less every single day without showing signs of stopping.
People out here suggesting band-aids as a panacea for sucking chest wounds. And it's kinda pissing us off.
