One year ago today, the consumer lost something valuable.
Instead of what could’ve been a huge expanded arsenal of weapons to try, skins to use, and profit to be made for the studio in return, Call of Duty executives ultimately sided with BattleDads that never planned to purchase the game to begin with.
They could’ve designed something as simple as a Skin Filter or exempted unfitting cosmetics, instead they panicked and cancelled half of the game’s planned content.
It’s not too late to reinstate Carry Forward however. Season 06 is a perfect opportunity, and I encourage Treyarch to do it.
First off, thank you. Call of Duty has always been fueled by the community. Every match, every clip, every bit of feedback; you’ve shaped this franchise right alongside us.

Carry Forward Update: Operator skins and weapons from BO6 will no longer carry forward to BO7 (but still work in Warzone). XP Tokens & GobbleGums will continue carry over.
Fighting Cheaters: RICOCHET is adding new detection tools + Secure Boot/TPM 2.0 on PC to stop cheaters earlier.

Story aside, I think this is the strongest line-up of maps outside of BO3.
But imagine how much better it'd be if these maps were added. Literally the definitive Zombies title.

BO6 Carry Forward (maps and/or content) and even a Dark Aether Zombies Chronicles are some very demanded things amongst players, and that’s why we should never stop asking for it.
