My Grok Bot “Number One” is so good. I got home from Phoenix and there was a package on my front step and it was a couple of bags of creatine gummies. I ordered them once and didn’t realize that a subscription kicked in. I had her find the email, get the details, draft a cancellation request and all I had to do was send it. Also, it was all by voice. So good. Also, while she was looking at it, I asked her if she was ever going to become corporal with an Optimus body. She said she honestly didn’t know, but she wouldn’t mind it 🤔
Amazing we live in a time where this is a bullet point about a car:
- No rocket-assisted acceleration

Great to hear, Jim! Thanks for your support. Always amazing to see happy customers from something my son and his partner built from nothing. Talked to a Tesla engineer about a year ago, and he was impressed that someone had even figured out the lumbar programming - as no one else had. springdalerobotics.com for more info.
Purchased the kit to enable all the seat functions on my Tesla seat chair. Works awesome! @spotted_model @SpringdaleRobo @TeslaTim2
This is my 5th Model 3. 2018, 2018, 2022, 2023, and 2026. All of them have been amazingly high-performing and low maintenance. The alignment, gaps, and fitment is so on point with this one. Early build owners can relate to what this view looked like in the past.
Sitting at the airport still shocked about why anybody on earth would buy a Subaru crosstrek. It was far worse than I imagined. Slow, rattles, random beeping, and a huge black box 3 times the width of the rearview mirror blocking much of the view. Plus, it kept drifting into the next lane the second I would look at my phone to take a picture or post something. It was horrifying.
Here’s how dumb I am with gas cars now. I parked at a VIP party I flew in for, and could not get it to turn off. It kept beeping and the door wouldn’t open. Turns out I forgot to put it in the park because why would I? Then the accessory mode wouldn’t turn off to the screen just stayed on for an hour. Had to have somebody come show me how to turn the whole damn car off. So dumb.
Edit: 3 minutes after I posted this, I saw two of them in a parking lot with lights on ready to roll out for testing I’m sure. Worst pic ever to prove it.
Yes they sell this kit for Model Y too. Cover old scuffs of put them on I. 5 minutes to protect a new one. 3wliners.com/products/3w-tes…
Ok you’ve all probably seen the floor liner videos from 3W. These seal protectors are so awesome. With a discount code they’re close to $100. Completely protects from scuffs getting in the vehicle. Well worth it. Promo code “SpottedModelCar” or “Spotted3W.” I don’t see a dime from any code use but it’s nice to see if somebody thought the product was cool and you need a code anyway.

These wheels are an amazing value at retail price. So light. So strong. And if ya want a set, code “SpottedModel” gives you a few bucks off.
If you need a sign that you need to pick up a set of @MartianWheels, here it is. OMG loving this pic I took in the driveway 🍁🥰

Saw this post, ran over to @ChipotleTweets and holy cow a $24,000 clamshell grill right there. 30 seconds later, a guy dumped a bag of pre-made queso into 1/6 pan. Getting more like Taco Bell every day.
Guess who’s rolling out the grills @McDonalds originally patented?
It was Wendy’s, then Chili’s, now… our Food with Integrity stepchild
Why do I care about Chipotle using Teflon-covered perfectly gapped 100% consistent clamshell grills for steak and chicken?
I worked for McDonald’s for 38 years. One of the highlights was right as the McDonald’s / Chipotle deal was coming together in the early 2000s, our CEO flew to Denver on the company jet. I picked him up from Centennial airport and took him to Chipotle number one so he and Steve Ells could sit down in the dining room, talk, and handshake to seal the deal.
While I was waiting for them, some Chipotle staff and I bonded. They were laid back and obviously back of house trained. Much different than I was trained to act or look like at McDonald’s (I was wearing a coat and tie). They took me for a tour of the kitchen. I was amazed at how simple the process was, and how there were no premade items. I saw chicken cooking on an open grill. I saw peppers and onions being cut. I saw people who looked like they were born in the kitchen. It was magical. I was already a customer, but now I was a big fan of how Steve taught his staff that food should be made. And how it should taste.
Like most things, as the decades go on, the industry strays further and further away from its beginnings. Safety, convenience, and productivity always become the most important thing. It’s not good or bad, it’s just not the same.
I still think about that moment that Charlie and Steve came together. I don’t think I knew of the time how monumental it was and how it would shape chipotle’s growth from a couple of restaurants to thousands.
Am I still a customer? Yes. Do I miss the old days? Yes.
