WORLD NUMBER 15! ALEXANDRA EALA will end the season as number 15 in the world. I will focus on this as this is more important. I want her to win that title of course and I feel she will. But Alex Eala is guaranteed to debut at World number 15 in the upcoming WTA rankings, regardless of the outcome of tomorrow's final. Why it's important? aside from the privileges she gets from that, people are saying (bashers, haters, racists) that she will NEVER be top 20. She's now top 15. They're saying she will NEVER win a title this year or the next or the year after that. She has now a chance to get her second. For a player like her with a problematic serve, they said top 50 will be her Max. Look at her now. Kudos to Maria Sakkari's 12 aces. But Chokeala didn't happen tonight. Claire Liu awaits tomorrow. #AlexEala #HKOpen2026

And Maria Sakkari takes us to a deciding set in the #HKOpen Semis! Amidst several rain delays Maria didn't lose her composure and Alexandra Eala's level has gone down but she is fighting. Maria is excellent in the service game with several Aces. Alex needs to lock in. #AlexEala

Alexandra Eala takes the first set at the #HKOpen2026 Semifinals! 7-5 It is not an Alex Eala first set without the rollercoaster ride. It was looking like a no drama set and then...... Anyways there's a short rain delay going on.... Both players getting their necessary coaching right now... Oh they're back! Second Set now! Lezzzgo! #AlexEala #WTA250

#HKOpen Semifinals Today! Alexandra Eala vs. Maria Sakkari in the Hong Kong Open SF is fascinating and the exact kind of first-time H2H battle Saturday Pinoy sports and tennis fans needed. Alex Eala hasn’t dropped a single set all week, but every match has been a 2.5-hour thriller miller full of 7-6 tiebreak Petronovela teledrama. Meanwhile, Sakkari, former World top 5 is looking to lock down her first final of the season. It’s peak clutch firepower bright lights merchant vs. big stage experience but Alex's resolve under pressure the past 2 games is absurd. If Alex keeps her composure on the key points and second serve holds up under pressure, final #2 of her career is right there. We are hoping that will be the case. #AlexEala #WTA

What is your worst drunken/ laseng moment that you will never forget? For me, nung College pa ako nakipag inuman ako sa classmate ko sa house nila sa Balic-Balic Sampaloc. We started at 7pm finished at around 1am. After that everything is a blur. I woke up at a 7-11 somewhere I didn't know where. Ginising ako ng guard. After that hindi ko na naman alam kung ano nangyari. I ended up in Cubao that morning. In front of Farmers Mall along EDSA. Class A fake version ng Lacoste Polo Shirt ang suot ko. And the logo was kinda peeled off. So it's either A. Someone wanted to harass me. B. I was harassed. C. Some crazy dude wanted that crocodile logo. Went straight to Farmers market to eat and sumakay ng Dyip pauwi like it's just another normal day.
