From Detection to Prevention Lead is invisible, but its harm is real. This week, SRADeV Nigeria says: detect early, prevent early, and keep our children safe from lead. #ILPPW2026 #FromDetectionToPrevention #LeadFree #SRADeVNigeria

Children are especially vulnerable to lead, which harms brain development, learning and behaviour. Let's eliminate lead at the source: paint, toys, spices and unsafe recycling. #sradevnigeria #ilppw2026 #banleadpaint #leadpoisoning

Lead from paint, cookware, cosmetics, spices and unsafe battery recycling causes irreversible harm, even at low levels, and killed over 3.5 million people in 2023, mostly through heart disease. Identifying sources and eliminating exposure prevents it. #lead #sradevnigeria

Day reminds us of something rare: the world came together, fixed a hole in the sky, and it's actually working. The ozone layer is on track to fully recover by 2066. Proof that global action isn't just possible, it's proven. #WorldOzoneDay #undp #eiauk #unido #sradevnigeria
