Thank you @bofrench for showing our wonderful kids the right places they’re to conquer in this country. In not many years from now, a brown skinned Hindu will be in the White House. Mark my words!! Soooo Sooooo proud to have watched this generation grow up in front of our eyes!!

***Diwalifest and Voting in the Town Hall*** There was a lot of online discussion yesterday about Diwalifest in the Town Square, specifically regarding some of the parking and roads that were shut down for the festival. Unfortunately, despite the fact that Diwalifest organizers canceled the fireworks show and opened up parking in response to complaints, some folks still accused the organizers and the city of “voter suppression” due to the fact that it was (slightly) harder to access the polling location from the south. But was there in fact voter suppression? I pulled the actual numbers from Tarrant County‘s website. Here are early vote totals through six days of voting for the last decade of major elections in our Town hall. I also included the percentage of Saturday vote totals as compared to the votes cast through six days of early voting. [Election, Saturday, Sat votes, Cumulative thru Saturday, Sat share] 2026 midterm (in progress), Oct 24, 1444 daily votes, 10196 total, 14.2% 2022 midterm, Oct 29, 1021 daily votes, 6583 total, 15.5% 2018 midterm, Oct 27, 1295 daily votes, 8872 total, 14.6% 2025 special, Oct 25, 490 daily votes, 2829 total, 17.3% 2024 presidential, Oct 26, 1586 daily votes, 11789 total, 13.5% 2020 presidential, Oct 17, 1253 daily votes, 6451 total , 19.4% 2016 presidential, Oct 29, 1418 daily votes, 9057 total, 15.7% Note: 2020's Saturday was day 5, not day 6, since that year's early voting started on a Tuesday. As you can see, yesterday‘s share of total early voting is on track with prior years in Town hall and in fact is a higher percentage of votes cast to date than we had in 2024. I’m not going to speculate on why some folks jumped on this issue and tried to blow it up into a national story. But facts are facts. The polling location never shut its doors, not once, and over 1400 voters still turned out to vote. (By the way, I do wonder why certain parties were so intent on turning this into a controversy instead of, oh I don’t know, showing up to the festival and trying to persuade the South Asians in attendance to go inside and vote for their candidates. Just saying.)

🚨Breaking: Diwali “suppressed” Southlake voters so badly they’re voting at nearly 30% turnout which is #2 in all of DFW, ahead of Collin, Denton, Dallas, and Tarrant counties combined. Meanwhile cities with zero Indian festivals are at 15–17%. Propaganda called. Data answered. #Southlake #Texas2026

This is exactly what they want us to do for our later gen’s, totally forget our roots & religion, wipe away all the racism thrown at us & move on Exactly why we fight this bigotry hard, so as our next gen’s don’t become such hateful dumbo-bimbos, emptied of self consciousness

Thank you Marco Rubio for calling out all these woke right lunatics who hate on indians for no good reason. But you are must acknowledge one thing. Anti-Indian racism has been rising. In fact its already gotten so bad that we almost had a massacre of Hindus at a temple in Chicago last week, and there were two more incidents, including a Hindu worshipper’s car being shot at right outside. These needless acts of hate will only stop if we continue to call them out.

A Brown-Skinned Dark-Haired Italiano, ranting to a Brown-Skinned Beany Mexican, that they don’t get to “pride in white culture” 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Cynical display of Amnesia, of racism both their ancestors faced & were denied by “certain ethnic protestants” of wannabe “White European” status

Two things I have thoroughly benefited from, in this country - value for meritocracy & academic flexibility - are being demolished right in front of my eyes. Such retributive actions in the universities is a move towards death of America’s greatness Exactly why fight this bigotry
I exercised my constitutional right to vote according to my conscience, spoke out against anti-Indian bigotry, and refused to toe the Republican Party line. My participation in Campus Reform's correspondent program has now been terminated. Losing a place in a program will not make me retract my beliefs or abandon my community.

To all, telling me to go back: I want to ask you, how did you earn your place in this country? I have fully earned my position in this country every way out there - academically, professionally, financially, socially & legally - I passed each, to cement my place in this country.
The amount of hate that Vasant is getting in comments here, merely for exercising his right to vote in a way he deemed it fit, must tell us all why we must take actionable steps as a community. What happened to First Amendment?!?! As a diaspora, we MUST reject to remain silent!!!

I’m sure this $25 MILLION fund will go the same way as $5000 checks promised by Trump atRepublican National Convention here in Dallas. This govt LIES through its teeth 😂😂
🚨 WOW! President Trump and JD Vance are launching a $25 MILLION fund to pay Americans who expose fraud, to be revealed in the OVAL OFFICE today — Fox It's called the "Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program," and it'll be run by the DOJ 🔥 Minnesota's Feeding Our Future scheme alone stole about $250 million meant for kids. Imagine how much faster that gets caught when people who KNOW are incentivized to blow the wistle This sends shivers down the spine of fraudsters! 🇺🇸

What is your stance on senseless hateful tropes and even physical violence, against my ethnicity and my religion? In case you’re keeping “ethical abstinence” on that matter, then I give you absolutely no rights, to preach what’s right or wrong for me.. You do yours, we do ours!!
Replying to @sravytweets
Abstaining is ethical. Voting for Talarico is a vote for anti-white racism and discrimination more blatant than the anti-Indian racism.

Today I attended #durgapuja2026 in #TimeSquare. We Hindus are openly celebrating our religious festivals despite the threat of mass murder by a transgendered groyper on our lives and way of life. We won’t be intimidated. Freedom of religion is enshrined in our 1st amendment. Thomas Jefferson himself said it applies to ALL religions. This country doesn’t have an established state religion. And we will not be coerced into proselytization.

American history is full of Violence against immigrants. Every immigrant owes it to themselves to vote against hate & possible violence. That is what makes America different from Saudi Arabia.
This guy interned for Ted Cruz and was active as a conservative youth organizer. But it seems his commitment to conservative principles shattered upon contact with a few offensive online posts.

Harris County just broke its record for the first day of early voting in a midterm. Houston is showing up. Midland, Odessa, the Eagle Ford: your paycheck is on this ballot. Check your county's hours and vote through Oct 30.

While I empathise with @iamthelmalouise for whatever happened, I am not one bit surprised at his campaign manager. We Indian diaspora know very well the classical white supremacist bitch that Michellebbz is. We too were treated similar ways Thelma. Race Matters Right @carlwheless
