Yesterday, four months into their rent strike– the first in Raytown, MO history– Bowen Tower Tenant Union signed an agreement with their landlord. The agreement satisfies key demands and allows the union to de-escalate the strike by Feb 1.

The government is back open, but our people are still hurting. We will continue WE FEED US through the end of the month to make sure our union members are as stable as possible on the other side of this catastrophe.
When @KCTenants heard that SNAP benefits would be delayed as a result of the government shutdown, they jumped into action.
WE FEED US is a survival program in the spirit of the Black Panthers, and like the Panthers, KC Tenants is agitating to win much bigger fights.
