Friendly reminder: The Big Beautiful Bill was written, passed, and signed by REPUBLICANS! 218 Republican votes in the House, 50 in the Senate, with JD Vance breaking the tie! NOT ONE Democrat voted for it!
Trump signed it into law July 4, 2025! So when the consequences hit…DON’T blame Democrats! Good day!

Republicans saying Democrats have the House and Senate now, so everything better be cheaper by January, tells me everything I need to know about their understanding of government. Baby, they don’t even take office until January. Y’all really just be voting and hoping for the best. 😭

Trump pledged $5,000 to adult U.S. citizens if Republicans retained Congress in 2026 midterms. Democrats won both chambers, so it does not apply. Similar prior promises went unfulfilled; it needed congressional approval and would cost over $1T.

Unearthed video: Bill Clinton praises the 2007 University of Michigan senior speaker, Abdul El-Sayed, on his commencement speech
"I don't want to embarrass your senior speaker. But I wish every person in the world who believes that we are fated to have a clash of civilizations and cannot reach across the religious divides could've heard you speak today. I just wish every person in the world could've heard you speak today."

There are a lot of landmines in Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” set to go off after the midterms when the new Congress is sworn in. Dems have to communicate that fact to the public and make tangible moves to mitigate damage and improve people’s lives

Not to bring down the mood but we still have a shit storm coming when the worst of the Big Beautiful Bill kicks in next year. Please don’t play stupid and blame the Democrats when it happens.

We cannot have sustainable energy because it threatens the oil industry. We cannot have healthcare because it threatens insurance. We cannot have peace because it threatens the weapons industry. Capitalism built a system where doing the right thing is treated like bad business.

Call me soft, but I’m literally in tears about this. I’m thinking about what I know Hurts was experiencing health wise. People have been so unfair to him. He’s always been tough, a class act, shows up and does his job, and you have weird people claiming this was all on purpose, blaming him for everything, discrediting his talent…. It’s not fair.
