New paper! We show that professionals responsible for developing/implementing/regulating healthcare AI disagree on: 1) is algorithmic bias a problem? & 2) who should address it & how? Big implications for equitable healthcare! Work led by @yvessj_aquino for @DiagnosingML

When you've fought with a publisher's login page for 15 minutes so you can complete a peer review on your first day of annual leave and you are confronted with a demand for keywords and marketing preferences, can you be forgiven for feeling... disincentivised?

Hi #qualitative researchers in Australia. Do you compensate your directly-recruited participants--not panel members--via a method *other than* gift cards from major retail groups? If so, please share your HREC approved and compliant strategies! Would love to hear them.

Re: my question from yesterday👆I've been asking IRL too. Everyone hates retail cards, but other options impossible, logistically or b/c of Uni policy. Tagging a few folks to ask what you do: @JMooneySomers @DALupton @reprotechethics @JLSbioethics @WendyLipworth @cynforlini? TY!
