ETH is self sustainable because of HIGH GAS FEES
- high gas fees generate significant revenue for validators + provide an economic incentive for validators to support the network, contributing to its security
- ETH is also DEFLATIONARY
Solana is not currently self sustainable
- low gas fees mean that the Solana foundation must subsidize validators to the tune of around $100 million per month
- SOL also has high inflation. The supply will grow by around 6% in 2024. Supply is infinite
I am very bullish on Solana nonetheless, but can we please put to rest the argument that ETH is garbage because of high gas fees
