An experiment simulating shift work showed that it decreased the activity of DNA repair genes and leads to higher levels of DNA damage. This could explain why shift workers have a much higher risk of cancer compared to non-shift workers.

This seems promising. Camostat mesylate, a serine protease inhibitor, partially blocked CoV-2 entry into human cells, and even better when combined with E-64d, a protease inhibitor. Camostat is approved in Japan and "could be considered for off-label use." #COVIDー19 #coronavirus
