I've spent my entire life single-mindedly focused on art , drawing, and creative pursuits since the youngest age. I don't know how to be without it, it's just an extension of who I am, and how I live. And the internet, particularly with AI, has made it so that the literal life I've poured into this pursuit for decades, is just being snatched away and used against me as a cudgel in competition with myself, at an inordinate pace and inhuman scale. That's one thing if people were actually generating original ideas with this tech. I still hate that. But it's an even more depraved category when they're doing it off of the labor I've invested for coutnless hours into works that actually mean something to me personally. That were the results of contemplation and reflection, and some fraud decides to mimic with absolutely no thought as to why the image was created in the first place. It's just a wretched soul chasing some dollar signs with cheap tech, cheap products, and no introspection. That is possible because of the following: 1) Tech companies are greedy and lack virtue, so they make it possible. "If I offer it, they will come"... $$$ without remorse. 2) People are lazy, and don't want any of the struggle, growth, or actualization of real talent that one finds in the means, of actually striving to excel in the human creative capacities that God gave us, they only want the ends. None of the guts, all of the glory. 3) Online shoppers are too consumeristic and undiscerning of what they are participating in. It's a "if I can see it or buy it, it must be fine" mentality, as if access was the bar on which we judge virtue. Not enough introspection - "How does this page that has only been around for a couple of years have 600 t-shirts?" No consideration of the fact that they were stolen in the first place from who knows how many artists, reducing art itself to nothing but a cash run. I'm at the point where it's time to start making examples of category 2 (the intentional frauds, versus the unaware of category 3 which I don't blame but only want to educate) when it comes to IP theft. I'm just working too hard, and getting too old to let my life's work go to death by a thousand cuts just because AI is a thing now. I've been vetting IP attorneys to begin making my stand, but I want a pit bull. I've found good ones, but not a pit bull. I don't need some long protracted back and forth. These people know they are stealing, and it's time to bring it to light. I want a crusade. Send me recommendations if you have them!
