The richest 10% of Americans own 87% of all US stocks held by households.
Share of US household stock ownership by wealth, per Goldman Sachs using Federal Reserve data:
Top 1%: 47%
Next 9% (top 2–10%): 40%
Next 40% (10–50%): 12%
Bottom 50%: 1%
Half of America owns just 1% of the stock market.

🚨BREAKING: Supreme Court just handed Trump the immigration equivalent of a nuclear button.
In a 5–4 ruling, they confirmed he can use the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to treat Tren de Aragua as what it is: an invading foreign force.
That means:
• No more endless appeals
• No more activist judges blocking deportations
• Venezuelan gang members can be rounded up and shipped straight to El Salvador’s mega-prison
This is a historic win for borders, sovereignty and law & order in the United States.
The only people upset today are the open-borders globalists who never thought this day would come.

These are the details of Russell Brand's rape conviction:
- Brand met a fan at one of his gigs in 2009 and invited her backstage
- She had a consensual threesome with him - "used her tongue on his anus" "within moments" of meeting him
- Days later Brand invited her to his house for sex, she agrees
- The Times attacks Brand in 2022 for joining Rumble and becoming a right wing "conspiracy theorist"
- The Times and Channel 4 colaborate for a big documentary expose in 2023
- Times says it had the allegations since 2019 but waited until his political shift to release them for some reason
- Complainants for his criminal case all come forward after the doc drops, some contacted and encouraged by journalists
- Jury concludes the woman 17 years ago consented to everything except anal sex, at which point she was raped
- Rape charge is bundled with other sexual assault charges, including him grabbing a woman's breasts (which jury concluded was forced) who then gave him oral sex (which jury found was not forced)
Brand now faces anything from 8 to 15 years in jail.

In our view, a ban of AI will not happen in the US (with near-certainty).
Such a ban, if even possible to enforce, would mean the US surrendering its position in the global AI race to China.
That won't happen.
We believe today's decline was more technical than fundamental.

What just happened?
The Nasdaq 100 just posted its largest daily drop since the 2020 Pandemic, with the S&P 500 erasing -$3 trillion today.
Just 24 hours ago, the Dow surged +1,600 points after the Democrats "swept" the Midterms.
So, what changed? Let us explain.
(a thread)
Actual progress comes from hard-to-build technology.
Which comes from competitive, creative, free-market capitalism.
Which comes from one small, precarious area and then diffuses to the rest of the world.
Snuff that out, and it’s global stagnation for an extremely long time.

Just to put today's crash into perspective:
After today's crash, Nvidia, $NVDA, is now trading at a Forward P/E ratio of ~13x.
That's 7 turns below the S&P 500's ~20x Forward P/E and less than one-third of Walmart's ~43x.
Ironically, the name at the forefront of the AI buildout is now one of the "cheapest" stocks in the market.
Truly incredible.

This panic makes no sense.
Today's market crash looks like a massive overreaction when you look at what's actually happening.
Investors are worried that Democrats will use their control of Congress to impose major restrictions on AI, especially data centers.
But there are a few important things being overlooked.
1. AI is now a major part of the U.S. economy.
According to research from the St. Louis Fed, AI-related investment categories accounted for around 39% of U.S. economic growth during the first three quarters of 2025.
Now imagine what happens if the government suddenly introduces restrictions that force companies to cancel data centers, reduce spending and cut thousands of jobs.
It wouldn't just hurt Nvidia, AMD or other AI stocks. It could also slow down the entire U.S. economy.
And Democrats know this.
They have another election coming up in November 2028.
If their policies lead to slower growth, fewer jobs and a weaker stock market, voters could punish them in those elections.
That's why a complete shutdown of AI development seems highly unlikely.
2. Democrats can't simply pass whatever laws they want.
Republicans still control Congress until January 3, 2027.
Even after Democrats take over, Trump can veto legislation, and overriding him requires a two thirds majority in both chambers.
Democrats don't have enough votes to do that on their own.
They can block Republican legislation, but passing major new federal AI restrictions would require Trump's support or enough Republican votes.
Of course, state governments can still restrict data center development through permits, electricity rules and other regulations.
But regulating the industry and completely stopping its growth are two very different things.
3. Some of this selling could simply be profit taking.
Just yesterday, stocks rallied sharply as investors hoped the election results would bring more clarity and possibly improve the chances of ending the Iran war.
Now that optimism has disappeared almost overnight.
With AI valuations still high and companies spending billions on infrastructure, some investors may be using these rallies to reduce their exposure.
That doesn't necessarily mean the entire AI trade is collapsing.
4. Remember the Liberation Day crash in April 2025?
The S&P 500 fell around 11% in just two trading days as investors feared a recession and a prolonged trade war.
But Trump later paused many of the tariffs.
By April 24, the index had recovered more than 10% from its low.
And by May 21, it was up roughly 19% from the April bottom.
The economic risks hadn't disappeared. Investors simply realized the worst case scenario was becoming less likely.
A similar recovery could happen if the proposed AI restrictions turn out to be less severe than investors currently fear.
5. History also favors a recovery after midterm elections.
Since 1950, the S&P 500 has NEVER delivered a negative return in the 12 months following a U.S. midterm election.
That's 19 consecutive midterms with positive 12 month returns, averaging around 15%.
Of course, the Iran war, inflation and expensive AI valuations remain serious risks.
But nothing has fundamentally changed overnight to suggest that AI development is about to stop or the entire U.S. economy is heading for collapse.
Markets could recover much faster than people expect once there's more clarity about what Democrats actually plan to do.

BREAKING: A mystery seller is trying to dump about $500 million in data center loans all at once, per Bloomberg, days after the midterms raised doubts about many projects.
The anonymous seller is auctioning a dozen loans, including a $25 million piece of financing for a huge Stargate site in New Mexico, the joint project of OpenAI, SoftBank and Oracle.
Oracle has already sent that site’s developer a force majeure notice, a legal claim that events beyond its control may excuse it from its obligations.

You guys have been doing this same bit for quite literally decades and not once have you actually fought an actual Nazi.
My guess is Democrats have a two step plan for AI, neither one involves leaving it alone.
(1) they regulate the hell out of it and plant politicians at the table so they can steer the whole thing just short of nationalizing it, all while pretending the nanny state is simply protecting the sheep from super ultra dangerous technology.
If that doesn’t stick, then
(2) they expand the data center bans and moratoriums, because if they can’t control it then nobody else gets to have it either.
China is praying the second one wins.

On today's stock market crash:
As an investor, on days like today, you have to ask yourself one question: What fundamentally changed over the last 24 hours?
The shift in the fundamental backdrop cannot be attributed solely to the Midterm Election results; markets had already largely priced in the outcome.
So, what changed between yesterday and today? What is the fundamental reason for today's decline?
One of the most likely catalysts is growing concern about a potential "ban" on AI, or at the very least, severe regulation of the industry.
Over the last 24 hours, Democratic lawmakers have publicly called for restrictions on advanced AI development, including an outright "ban on artificial superintelligence."
Frankly, an outright ban will not happen.
Such a ban, if even possible to enforce, would effectively mean the US surrendering its position in the global AI race to China.
Does this mean AI is "over" or today's stock market crash marks "the end?" Absolutely not.
Rather, we believe we are witnessing a sudden shift in sentiment colliding with excessive levels of leverage, potentially triggering forced liquidations by several major institutional investors.
Therefore, today's downturn is more technical than fundamental. This is not to discount the concerns around regulation, they are legitimate. But price action right now does not look orderly or rational.
We are in the midst of the biggest technological revolution in human history.
Zoom out and remain calm.
