nat specifically referring to herself and misty as a unit after misty admits she was worried that nat wouldn't want to spend time with her of her own free will

also something about Nat and forgiveness and how the only person she ever truly struggles to forgive is herself… oh my girl :(

am making this about mistynat (surprise surprise) but she really did need the truly ridiculous fucking energy Misty (the one person she should’ve never found even kind of forgivable) brought into her life… there’s so much to say about what Nat gives Misty through just being—

a willing participant in her relationship with Misty and as much as Nat really isn’t better off knowing Misty or indulging her the way she does, Misty does do her some good

it really is a gut punch to watch Nat giggling at Misty bowing to her during her coronation and then immediately watching Misty kill her but that’s honestly the most mistynat way it could happen

it’s always funny when a show “accidentally” creates a ship oh so you gave them every romance trope under the sun, lines you’d call romantic in any other context, suggestive imagery left and right and cast two actors with blatant sexual chemistry? what a freak accident

i was gonna make a joke how Misty and Nat shouldn’t be allowed within 500 feet of each other, both for the safety of themselves and the general public but i fear they’d both be too into breaking a restraining order against each other

the general public might be okay for a bit but it’d make both of them just wanna harass and stalk the other one more. they really Get each other in ways no one else ever could dream of

unfortunately i do think you can tell s2 is my least favourite bc it is where im weakest knowledge wise outside the shit i’ve watched a million times for mistynat reasons. or ppl misremembering the show reasons

also with s2 more on my mind, i do kind of wonder if part of what pushed Nat towards Misty in s3 (beyond the fact that she was the only one on her side/her own isolation) was the fact Misty can’t be controlled. she’ll play along but she’s still very self motivated

i also do think there’s a ‘comfort’ for Nat in the fact that Misty doesn’t really ever change fundamentally. doesn’t matter how much worse or how the others morph, Misty is still Misty

natalie’s mindset is consistently “this loser is so fucking weird and pretty much nobody loves them i have GOT to fuck them” and i think that’s beautiful

very cute to me that after Shauna confesses to telling Jeff about what she did to Adam, both Nat and Misty start lecturing her

Watching Dropout to prep for You Can See Everything. All they're doing is improv and rolling 20 sided dice, when the hell does Elizabeth Holmes come out

mistynat suffers because there’s people who refuse to engage with adult Nat and teen Misty. all together, it paints a fucked up picture but you do have to think about All Of It

like i think a lot of ppl who say Nat would never like Misty wouldn’t say that if they actually paid any attention to her adult self. but paying attention to adult Nat ruins the idea of her being the ‘good’ one (the same way her liking and relating to Misty at all ruins it)

i cannot stress how many times i’ve rewatched that scene bc ppl are so insistent on it being Her idea and i think im misremembering but no. she just tells everyone what Lottie said about making use of her body if she dies
