Nine-year-old Anthony Murrill went to bed one night in November 1971. The last confirmed sighting of him was him climbing up to his top bunk. Hear his story omny.fm/shows/impact-stateme…
Just checking in. Still on hiatus... still waiting on my FOIA request for the last interview I did. It’s been over a year but I’m assured it’s coming eventually.
Quick update episode on two cases I covered and also the show as a whole.

A number of my guests lost their moms or their children to violence. I’m thinking of them all today. ❤️
I’ve not been around and I owe a bunch of people emails. I have been so busy with work that everything for Impact Statement has been pushed back. I’ll be back as soon as things slow down again! ❤️
The first episode of Impact Statement covered the murder of Jeff Rogers and the role of Crime Stoppers. Almost 11 years to the day after Jeff’s murder, arrests were made. I’m still in contact with Jeff’s family and will keep updating as this makes its way through the courts.
My laptop with all the files for the next episode is at the Apple store currently. Fingers crossed it will be fixed and back to me quickly!

Here it is - the much-anticipated follow-up interview with Bret McCann. His parents Lyle and Marie were murdered by Travis Vader in 2010.
Lots of new insights and updates in this ongoing case.

Happy #InternationWomensDay to all of our podcasters, researchers, and writers... which ALL happen to be women! @AlreadyGonePod @CanadianTCpod @DTTSPod @statementpod @tcfcpod @HGrayResearch @lanie_vo
The next episode was delayed as I deal with the logistics of my other show ending. But it’s coming! I plan on bringing the storytelling of In Sight to Impact Statement, while still working with families. I think this is the start of better things ❤️

If you had the ability to go back in time to one murder or disappearance and see what really happened, which one would it be? #truecrime #IDaddict #podcasts

I'm re-sharing this episode from 2016. Six years ago today, 21-year-old Kelsie Schelling #disappeared. She was eight weeks pregnant. Since this episode aired, the father of Kelsie's child has been charged with her murder. Kelsie is still missing. thevanishedpodcast.com/episo…

Got something big coming out in the next few days on #justicefordj case. Stay tuned.
I hope everyone liked the episode of @MurderInMyFam in the feed. Hearing stories from the families gives a different perspective.
This is why it’s important to tell the stories. We need, as a society, to learn empathy.

Thanks to @statementpod for playing a preview of my podcast on her show. If you enjoy The Murder in My Family, I think you’ll enjoy Impact Statement which is also a victim focused show!
