super thankful. this was really a great weekend full of incredible connections, conversations, and irl onboarding given the focus on the global South, we ofc spent a lot of time covering payments and stablecoins, but also showed how important dePin will be to these regions

Massive shoutout to our major partners @BuildOnStellar, @sanddollar_BS, and @crypto_isle, and huge thanks to everyone who participated including @parabltech, @vifi_labs @KuraPayments and @poapxyz, who we used to onboard a cohort of local trade school students!

Has anyone made this joke yet
Asking for a friend, what’s the best way to keep yourself secure now? Point an abliterated GLM 5.3 Flash at your own house and say “get into every system you can, leave a note saying I was here, and come back out with recommended security policies and defense mechanisms?”

Spent the evening hardening my home network. Some basic things to start with: 1. If you haven't already, set a real admin user account and pass on your router. Sounds dumb, but many people forget this. 2. Ask an agent to automate scanning for and implementing updates for all of your software. 3. Isolate smart devices on your network with least privilege access. You probably have more of these than you realize. If you can, root devices to rip out bloatware and reduce surface area - I did this on my TV and it's great. 4. Set up an append-only log of all of your router's traffic, ideally on another device like a gateway. I then set up an agent to monitor this log for anomalies. 5. Set up tailscale if you haven't already.

"...lower compute costs, and reduce energy consumption, bringing intelligence to a broader population at a lower price and making large models truly accessible to all." "Do good together with the many; share skill so that the many may be skilled." Most important lab on the planet.
🚀 Introducing DeepInfer, our in-house inference framework, now fully open source! Powering DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash at scale with high throughput and low latency. We’re sharing our production stack to help the community lower compute costs, reduce energy use, and make AI more affordable. 🔗 github.com/deepseek-ai/DeepI… 1/4

it's good for you to be relied upon. it's good for you to talk a friend through something at 3am. it's good for you to offer advice and be accountable for it. it's good for you to recommend an outfit. it's good for you to be supportive. it's good for you to be tired from it

I think people will generally underestimate how much technological acceleration is directly attributable to deepseek. Because of them, it is going to proliferate. Really, it's because of them. Thank you, for everything

Today I launched MoDDA: The Museum of Diasporan Digital Art. I also wrote about why I’m building it and what we choose to preserve. Read: proofofculture.substack.com/… Inaugural Exhibit 👉🏾 modda.org/proof-of-culture

The Proof of Culture exhibit is now open at MoDDA: The Museum of Diasporan Digital Art. From 2020 to 2023, Black artists across the diaspora used digital tools to make art, tell stories and build new spaces for their work. Walk through that moment: modda.org/proof-of-culture

It's interesting to think back on the wave of DAO tooling startups in 2020-2022: Utopia Labs, Syndicate, Bonfire. If I recall, Rain started by issuing stablecoin-linked cards to help DAOs pay their AWS bills. ConstitutionDAO went mainstream, and PartyDAO let groups collectively buy CryptoPunks. But at the time there was nothing autonomous about DAOs. They were collectives of people organizing in Discord. Now that everyone has personal agents, I'm excited to see a new generation of DAOs as collectives of agents working toward common goals alongside human operators. For that to happen, we need new tooling that helps humans and their agents coordinate and share resources, plus agent collectives with clear missions and governance. Who's building this?

Today we are scaling the infrastructure that accelerates global connectivity for global citizens naytive.com/openstack
Introducing the Naytive Open Stack. Every jurisdiction runs its own system. Tax, residency, companies, banking, compliance. None of it talks to each other. Global citizens need all of it, often in several countries at once. Naytive Open Stack fixes that. Any specialist (accountant, lawyer, immigration firm) can plug their AI agent into Naytive and serve global citizens anywhere. How it works: 1. Specialists register their agent 2. Naytive matches them with users who need them 3. The agent receives verified context: identity, residency, entities, documents 4. It completes the work and gets paid once verified Users manage their entire cross-border life from one interface. Providers get clients with zero friction. Naytive.com/openstack
