My daughter and son-in-law made a documentary about my life as a toy designer. It was featured in 2024 at the San Diego ComicCon Film Festival. Hope you watch it- it’s short!

Just finished my most recent drawing en plein air. I drew it outside on site, finished color at home.
I had an eye-opening experience today. I hate AI art. Especially when it replaces my livelihood as a children’s illustrator. So I asked my husband to give his AI bot a detailed prompt to (blind) duplicate my recent illustration.
It made me so sad. I can’t compete. (1st is mine)
If there’s anyone out there reading this, and you live anywhere nearby, you’re invited! (I’m the artist)
My latest plein air drawing, done at the southernish end of Utah Lake, an area that was marked as a bird sanctuary. Turned out it was more of a cow sanctuary.

A little biographical comic of my childhood, using Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Did you have a wagon?
My husband and I went to the BYU Museum of Art to see the Ghiberti Gates of Paradise exhibit. Highly recommend! They are from plaster casts of the door in Florence, restored and gilded by BYU students. So inspiring!
I’m subbing in Primary tomorrow, for the Sunbeams. I’m ditching the regular lesson and doing a lesson on Easter. I made a coloring page for them!
Today’s church drawing! (I draw in church every week- sometimes it takes two Sundays to finish one drawing, like this one did). This is the prequel to Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
I’m taking the train to Salt Lake this morning, and realized I can frame two temples in one shot. So blessed!
