I have concluded my visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where, together with members of my delegation, I had the rare honour of entering the Holy Kaaba to pray, and of performing Umrah.
I am deeply grateful to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud @KingSalman, and to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for extending this privilege to us, and for their gracious hospitality and brotherly care.
It reflects the enduring bonds of faith and friendship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
In those sacred moments, I prayed for peace, unity and prosperity for our dear nation and for all Nigerians.

This morning’s cyberattack against supermarket fridges and freezers has now spread to Belgium, Sweden, Luxembourg and Estonia.
The hackers increased the temperature up to 50C. Food worth millions of euros has been spoiled.
Experts warn that such cyberattacks on supply chains and logistics can constitute a threat to national food security in many Western states.

Jesus lived 600 years earlier in a far more unrefined era, yet He never owned a single slave. What is most startling about Christ is how He entirely bypassed the cultural traps of antiquity. He easily could have engaged in the socially permissible norms of His day that age horribly now; like marrying a minor, or owning and sexually exploiting slaves. But He didn’t. If AI had been writing and reviewing its own code for the past few decades, and humans had only recently started looking into what it was up to and discovered an ever-growing list of CVEs, we would reasonably conclude that AI hadn’t been good at coding all along and that we should just start over.
Except it’s the other way around.
Humans have been the ones writing and reviewing each other’s code for decades. Very diligently, if I may add.
If we’re being intellectually honest and holding ourselves to the same bar we hold AI to, we’d have to admit that we haven’t been all that good at it either.
