I just watched Clayface and i have a question…If Caitlyn’s kill switch destroyed the nanobots keeping Matt’s body together, what exactly is keeping him alive in the sewers? #Clayface #ClayfaceSpoilers

Clayface is proof that some of Batman’s most tragic villains are the ones you almost feel sorry for. 💔
In Batman: The Animated Series, Matt Hagen’s story in the two-part episode “Feat of Clay” is genuinely heartbreaking. Before becoming the monstrous shape-shifter known as Clayface, Hagen was a successful actor whose appearance was central to his career. After an accident leaves his face disfigured, he becomes dependent on a dangerous experimental substance that allows him to maintain his looks.
But the temporary solution comes at a horrifying cost. His body begins to transform into something he can barely control, and the man who once made a living pretending to be someone else gradually loses control over his own identity.
That’s what makes this version of Clayface so disturbing. He can imitate practically anyone, change his face at will, and become almost anything — yet he can’t simply return to being himself.
The scene where his body starts warping uncontrollably isn’t just a frightening display of his powers. It’s a man desperately trying to hold on to the last pieces of his humanity.#Clayface

Batman The Animated Series: Feat of Clay (1992) x Clayface (2026)
From DC Studios' Clayface to Feat of Clay, the story of Clayface from the animated Batman: The Animated Series, both works offer a dark side of characters that can change shapes and faces, but convey the horror in different ways.
Despite the same character, both versions reflect different horrors, the physical horror, the loss of identity, and the tragedy of someone who can never go back to the same person.#Clayface

If a Wall Titan ate one of the Nine, would it keep its size or end up looking like a regular Titan?

Never forget Doctor Strange casually turning a whole black hole into literal butterflies in Infinity war.
Peak MCU and it’s not even close!!
But come to think of it…bro if star lord never sold, they would've been able to win right there😭

If both Titan shifters and Pure Titans have their human operators located in the nape, shouldn’t it be possible to extract the humans from inside Pure Titans the same way shifters can be pulled out?
People are blaming Captain America for whatever is going on in the MCU because he went back in time and decided to stay with Peggy Carter
But if staying in the past and creating a different timeline is what caused all of this, what about Tony Stark snapping away Thanos and his entire army from 2014?
and one more thing: how did Tony's snap not erase Gamora too? She was part of Thanos' army

The thing that makes Doctor Doom terrifying is that he doesn't need to be the most powerful person in the room. He just needs to figure out how to take that power for himself.
Hickman's Secret Wars is the perfect example. Doom didn't overpower the Beyonders through brute strength. He worked with Molecule Man, took their power, and used it to build an entire world with himself at the top. That's what separates him from villains who just want more power. Doom finds a way to make the impossible happen, then convinces himself he's the only one who should be allowed to do it.
That's the version of Doom the MCU needs to get right. Not just a powerful villain, but a man smart enough to challenge gods and arrogant enough to believe he should be the bloody one.
It has come to my understanding that a lot of people who didn't read the comics are confused by how strong Dr. Doom is in Avengers: Doomsday, especially if their only frame or reference is the 2005 Fantastic Four movie.
Let's look at Dr. Doom from Jonathan Hickman's comics: Victor Von Doom stands in a rare league: he can step into a room with Doctor Strange and be taken seriously as a master of sorcery, while simultaneously rivaling Reed Richards, the smartest man on Earth. He didn't choose between science and magic he mastered both, making him exponentially more dangerous.
Beyond that, Doom doesn't need to be the strongest person in the room because he will simply figure out how to steal the power of whoever is. Throughout Marvel lore, he has stolen the Silver Surfer's Cosmic Power, usurped the Beyonder, and harnessed the energy of Galactus-level beings. He repeatedly ascends from battling Earth's heroes to wielding power that reshapes reality itself.
That is the Doctor Doom the MCU is taking on. Not a guy in a metal suit who shoots lightning from his hands, but a dictator whose sheer intellect, magical prowess, and relentless audacity allow him to siphon godlike power. If Avengers: Doomsday brings this version of Victor to life, audiences are going to learn very quickly why the entire Multiverse should be terrified of him.

VisionQuest understands that sometimes, the real magic isn't in what happens, but in how it's said. Every now and then, a line slips in, hits just right and stays with you long after the scene is over.
"My friends, we grieve to say goodbye, and yet with grief comes something new, an inner fire, strong and true. Reminding us that we will heal, that we were here, that we were real."

just finished #clayface and thought it was really solid. why are people defending him just because he's a victim? most batman villains have tragic backstories, but that doesn't excuse their actions. or do villains need to be evil from birth for y'all to hold them accountable?
marvel gave us a captain america movie nobody asked for instead of giving war machine his own movie. Rhodey deserves better.

Why didn’t Rod Reiss consume Eren to reclaim the Founding Titan, and why was Historia specifically required?
