I’m Xin 🇨🇦 I’ve lived a few different lives before ending up in SF.
Currently building at @getrevamp_ai (YC S23). Joined as founding engineer, eventually became cofounder and scaled from $0-$3M ARR in under a year.
My path here has been anything but conventional:
→ 5 years in theater, professional productions and lead role in musical
→ did fashion modeling on the side
→ grew up skiing, stepped out of X Games prep due to injury, now venturing in backcountry.
→ Did early AI research on human behavior & dopamine driven decision making

Asked 20 sales leaders what happens to deals that go quiet.
2 had a real process. the other 18: a rep remembers, a calendar reminder, or nothing
Two of them, separately, gave me the same number: 800 leads they'd already talked to that nobody followed up with
Twitter still argues about AI SDRs. In 78 calls with GTM leaders this quarter, prospects said AI SDR twice. They said agent in almost 60% of them
Clearly they want agents that actually run the process
I record every sales call. This quarter, when a prospect named an AI tool they use, it was Claude 3x more often than ChatGPT
These weren’t engineering calls. Mostly sales and growth leaders
hosted a founder dinner in SF this week. what worked:
1. no round-table intros. the room was already talking
2. everyone swapped sides halfway through
3. take a photo with someone, then send it to them. way harder to ghost someone you have a smiling photo with
