Twenty years from now, most kids won't remember the score. They'll remember who was on the pool deck with them and how the adults made them feel. #Leadership
A three-second clip can suggest a whole story.
Ask what got left out before you decide you've seen enough.

When people stop trusting the artist, they start reaching for the shortcut. Doing the work well matters. Doing it when you promised matters just as much. #Art
This week, California community college athletes are earning Division I offers, and every year thousands transfer to UC and CSU. The first school on your path is a starting line, not a grade. #Education
Post-midterm prediction: some Republicans start distancing themselves from Trump to build momentum for 2028. And don't be surprised if he signs a major entitlement bill with Democrats just to shape his legacy and stick it to the party establishment. #Midterms
Kids get over a loss by dinner. What they carry for years is what a grown-up yelled from the stands. Cheer loud, criticize never, and let the coach coach. #Leadership
Endless texts and ads all want a feeling from you, not a thought. Tomorrow, give your vote what they didn't ask for: a quiet minute to think for yourself. #Midterms
AI made it easier than ever to start something creative. It didn't make it any easier to keep going. The rare skill now isn't making something, it's staying with it long enough to make it yours. #Art
Nobody finds their people by waiting to be found. Community college is full of folks who showed up on purpose: first-gen kids, career changers, parents. Start there and you learn early that where you begin says nothing about how far you will go. #Education
Every coach faces it: the play that wins this Saturday, or the habit that helps a kid at 16. The scoreboard rewards the first. The kid needs the second. Coach for who they're becoming. #Leadership
Ads this week are built to make you feel something before you think anything. Notice the feeling, then go find the facts. Your vote deserves both. #Midterms
To every kid who thinks their art isn't good enough yet: 'yet' is the whole point. Keep making things nobody asked for. #Art
Some of the best students I know took the community college route on purpose: lower cost, a clear path to UC and CSU, time to grow up. That's not a backup plan. That's a game plan. #TuesdayThoughts
Most youth sports problems aren't kid problems. Kids get over a lopsided game by snack time. It's the adults on the sideline who need coaching. Protect the joy first. #MondayMotivation teapawt.net/RGIII/status/211474200…
CALLING THE COPS ON A 3 YEAR OLD IS CRAZY
Nevada is a 3 year old Soccer phenom who had the police called on him in Winter Park, Florida.
His family was allegedly live streaming a game that he scored 10 goals in against 5 year olds.
Opposing parents complained about Nevada’s playing style, that he was holding possession of the ball too much because the other kids couldn’t get the ball from him.
Nevada was kicked out of the league, his family refunded their money and the police escorted his family off the field with a trespass notice.
Punishing a 3 year old child for being too good at a sport is RIDICULOUS.
When every headline says a race is already decided, notice how that makes you feel: excited, defeated, done paying attention. That feeling is the point. Nothing is decided until people vote. #Midterms
Learn the rules well enough that when you break one, it's a choice, not an accident. That's true for a drawing, a game plan, or a life. #Art
To every student who said "I guess it's community college for me": you didn't settle. You saved money, kept your options open, and gave yourself room to grow. Where you start isn't where you finish. #Education
After a tough loss, the best postgame talk is usually the shortest one. Kids don't need a lecture in that moment. They need to know you still believe in them. The film can wait until Tuesday. #Leadership
The most powerful thing on TV isn't what it tells you. It's what it lets you assume. Notice what's actually been shown, not just implied, before you fill in the blanks. #Midterms
