We received 10” in the last 12 hrs! WSDOT is planning avy control on the west side of HWY 2 at 8am. Please plan accordingly. Chains are required on all vehicles except AWD. Please check the WSDOT website and Twitter feeds for the most up-to-date information before heading out!

Avalanche control on US 2 Stevens Pass is scheduled for Tuesday morning (2/21) at 8AM. It can take 30 min. to 2 hrs. to clean up, so make sure to plan ahead if you're headed over the pass tomorrow morning. Thank you for your patience! @wspd6pio @StevensPass

US 2 is closed in both directions from MP 85, at Coles Corner to MP 99 just West of Leavenworth, due to a collision. There is currently no estimated time fo reopening. Currently there is no detour available.

If you're traveling US 2, plan that Tuwmater Canyon west of Leavenworth (mp 85-99) will be closed for today. This heavy snow makes for high avalanche danger and crews can't go in until conditions stabilize. Chumstick Hwy is a detour for cars but not OK for freight. @wspd6pio

US 2 is currently closed from MP 99 to MP 84.75 ( West of Leavenworth to Coles Corner through Tumwater Canyon) due to avalanche potential. There is currently no estimated time for reopening.

🛑Full closure of the road at MP 33 permitted btwn 10PM-630AM
🚘Traffic must be cleared once per hour during the closure

Stevens Pass will not offer night skiing on Christmas Eve, Sat, Dec 24th. Operations on Sat will be from 9am-4pm and we will resume day and night operations on Sun, Dec 25th. Stevens Pass has historically not operated on Christmas Eve and we promise to confirm earlier next year.

US 2 Stevens Pass is closed in both directions from MP 58 at Scenic to MP 64.5 at the summit due to adverse weather and multiple collisions. There is no detour available and there is currently no estimated time for reopening.

With snow in the forecast and the majority of schools out for holiday break, it will be busy through January 1. We expect our parking lots to fill up quickly, so please arrive prior to 9am or after 1pm – and PLEASE carpool.
