President Putin is a murderer. His soldiers use rape as a weapon. He has launched wars costing thousands of lives. His agents have stolen children and destroyed families. Russia today is what President Reagan correctly called it: the evil empire.
Steve Witkoff to Putin: You talk so much about my president, President Trump, being a humanitarian. You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that, I commend you, and I thank you again.

It literally is.
Mike Johnson: Everybody's frustrated about fuel prices, obviously. But that's not related to policies. It's not related to the Republicans in office.

Better still, Russia removes its invasion force from Ukraine territory.
Trump: “Zelensky could have settled this war many times. And he chooses not to. He wants to make problems for the world...He better damn well stop.”

Trump and his administration continue to escalate against British, Canadian and European interests, values, and security. By attacking the ICC, he is attacking *our* shared court and our structures of international law. By buying Russian diesel, he is giving Putin more capacity to kill Ukrainian civilians and threaten the security of all Europe, the UK included. A YouGov poll this week asked “which country do you think poses the biggest threat to the UK today?” It showed Brits regard Russia (46%) as the greatest perceived threat, followed by the US (12%) - ahead of Iran, Israel and China. It is becoming increasingly clear that Trump’s intentions towards us (in Canada, UK and Europe) are hostile. As America’s financial and moral positions in the world tumble, his policies towards the rest of the West look increasingly kamikaze. We need to increasingly take up antagonistic positions towards the US administration and the Big Tech companies that are undoubtedly becoming an extension of US executive power. Not a pleasant prospect, but absolutely necessary for our security.

The negative consequences of leaving the EU were labelled ‘Project Fear’. They were fully understood, by one side only.
How do Conservative Party members feel about the UK-EU referendum 10 years on? We spoke to Tories at their conference in Birmingham to find out! 🎤

Can someone dub the Curb Your Enthusiasm music over this?
LMFAO -- Trump is holding an event at the White House right now but there's no audio because the press pool isn't there. The Newsmax host notes that this is an example of Trump's attacks on the press "backfiring just a little bit"

Look at Zelensky. Look at his reaction to what Kushner is saying. Utter disgust. He’s doing his best not to show it, but @ZelenskyyUa is rightly and utterly disgusted with the Americans talking about Putin’s “aspirations.” Fuck Putin and his aspirations. He invaded a sovereign nation. He needs to get the fuck out of that sovereign nation. All of it. But alas, America has a president who’s on Putin’s side.
Jared Kushner says peace should be a “win-win” deal that helps Putin achieve his “aspirations.”

@BBCBreakfast have I got this right? You’ve interviewed Danny Kruger of Reform UK, a party with only 8 MPs. You’re not interviewing Matthew Pennycook, the Housing Minister? How are viewers meant to know what the govt is doing? #bbcbreakfast

Who else is fed up with #r4today leading their news headlines with what ReformUK might do if elected? Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow? Why does @BBCr4today not also lead with what Lib Dems might do, Tories, SNP or Greens ? Hmm? @BBCNews needs serious rethink. @BBCR4Feedback

This nut job is a danger to children.
Q: I think I heard you say the MMR vaccine is quite lethal. Is there any evidence of that? Trump: No. I’ve heard some people say that. I've heard when you put them together, they can be explosive.

Rich coming from someone who doesn’t know how to fold an umbrella.
Trump: I was really disappointed with Jeanine Pirro. She folded like an umbrella.
