I made an app that helps crafting App Store and Google Play screenshots.
you pick a template and drop your app's screens into the phones
I kept adding more templates because I thought that's what would sell it
then I looked at the data. 49 of 50 uploads were a single screenshot, so every template showed one filled phone and four empty ones. one person flipped through 10 templates in 13 seconds and left
AI helped me understand that nobody can judge a template full of empty phones. new projects start with sample screens now, and you can pull your real ones from an App Store link
if your product only looks good with the user's content in it, then you're in troubles. still trying to fix this.
was wondering why my agent runs cost so much
turns out 80% of every run was the first call loading 126k tokens of tool definitions into cache. before the agent did anything
and that cache expires after 5 min, so every scheduled run paid it again
put the tools behind tool search. same question went from 33 cents to 3
read X's open source algorithm today instead of guessing how to grow
if you're under 50k followers, an original post can get lifted to around slot 15 in For You feeds. but only for its first 2 hours, and only until it has ~200 views
replies and reposts don't get that
so don't waste your best stuff in replies. put it in an original post, and post when your people are awake, because the 2 hours start the second you hit post
This is wild. Since when did YouTube become so hostile?
agi is here
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

We’re sorry to see that OpenAI put out a note saying they plan to block Cursor users from accessing OpenAI models in three months.
OpenAI models serve about 5% of Cursor user traffic, and we’re speaking with the OpenAI team to resolve this.
Cursor was one of the very first users of OpenAI, we’ve worked closely with their team for years, and we’ve trusted their platform to be neutral infrastructure for our business.
