I wouldn't think anyone else has played more, but Knight has played 177 pro matches this year apparently. I see Showmaker has 164 pro matches this year so probably right. Almost certainly the most played in any single year ever once Worlds concludes.
Feels like too much.
TheShy, Zeus, Smeb, Kiin, Khan, Bin, Nuguri, Canyon, Oner, Score, Peanut, Tian, Clearlove, Chovy, Knight, Rookie, Showmaker, Doinb, Scout, Bdd, Zeka, Ruler, Deft, Viper, Jackeylove, Guma, Pray, Keria, Meiko, Mata, Ming, Gorilla
Strange, I can think of a half dozen champs more fitting for Caps and about a half dozen mid laners more fitting for the Hall of Legends.
It has been a while since I've seen a player tank a high level series so hard for an otherwise top tier team. Yuyanjia-esque.
I do like that everyone in league esports just chalks up the immense, pathetic failure called TES to "choking", as if to mean that without some select number of individual panics in high leverage situations they would have bested T1 to make it to World finals last year.
The whole Top Esports bit aside, it's really nice how actually good and competitive the best "minor" region teams are nowadays. It took a pretty long time to get to this point, but it really makes these international events so much better. No skips anymore.

Someday, someone is going to ask “why did we give away broadcast rights to random people without them paying a single cent?” after all of the viewership has truly and totally collapsed.

I want to talk to the people that made the decision to allow costreaming so I can understand why they want to kill their product

They're punishing GenG for getting 3-0d by G2 by getting them like Al Capone
Ruler 🇰🇷 is under review by the LCK after South Korea’s tax authorities determined he had evaded taxes, a decision later upheld by the Tax Tribunal
Under LCK rules, he could face a fine of up to 100 million won (~€56,900) and/or a maximum permanent suspension from the LCK and LCK CL
His agency Supergent said it was "an administrative error" and confirmed the taxes and related amounts have already been settled

Heavily shadowed by a downright comatose jungle performance from Canyon (is he awake?), but if Knight dropped that Chovy performance at any international event in any series, it would be a scarlet letter everyone would reference till the end of time.
This is an egregiously bad entry and there’s zero argument for him to be voted in right now. Sure would love to see the voting results on this one with all the candidates Riot presented voters.
RUMOR: Caps 🇩🇰 could be the player selected for the Hall of Legends 2026, according to @BigBadBear_
With these two skins:
- Risen Legend Sylas
- Immortalized Legend Yasuo
