i think an easy POV to take as to why “established” or older coins aren’t retaining as much volume is because the overarching launchpads/terminals/companies stopped spotlighting communities like this
cc @fomo @seyong @paulerlanger, this is a layup to appeal to the “uncs”

These are collectors items, when your future grandchild uncovers this hat on Thanksgiving in the year 2057, you can sit them on ur lap and tell them a great story of how you were able to buy the Family Home from simply being a NEET during the Great Reset period of the Late 20s

great read
today marks day 260 since I started a DCA to acquire more buttcoins
feels like everyone always wants something “novel” in memecoins with how much virality/slop has occupied the space
well, you have the original creator of a 15 y/o running joke publically supporting and sticking with a coin through the highs and lows
to me, buttcoin has the perfect ingredients to derive some sort of “value” out of an asset class that can be considered “valueless”
once the IP is fully approved (review prior to publication completed with publication set for Oct 20), it will have government-verifiable records supporting the claim of the “first crypto meme” - which I believe can hold value
I have always viewed memecoins through the lens of collectibles, and I want to keep my hands on the “first” of its kind
after all, a parody of the most known cryptocurrency quite literally classifies itself as the genesis “memecoin”
time will tell, but I believe the best is still yet to come. stay clenched 🍑
On September 8, 2014, Satoshi’s GMX email was hijacked.
The hackers defaced the Bitcoin Sourceforge page, swapping the title and logo to Buttcoin and the project description from my twitter bio.
The changes were reverted in a couple hours.
The hackers were never caught.
