WE’RE THE BOSSES, ARE WE? TWADDLE!! The polls have been over 60% for rejoining the EU for over two years! Nearly 70% of 18 - 35 year olds - that’s nearly 10 million voters - want to rejoin. YOU’RE NOT LISTENING! BREXIT is costing £100 billion a year and every family £1000. YOU NEED TO STOP THIS! Inward investment has tanked. WHY ARE YOU LETTING THIS HAPPEN? Queues at ports and airports are pissing off 30 million travellers to Europe every year. WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING YOURSELF IN THE FOOT? Over 20,000 businesses have stopped trading with the EU because of Brexit. WHY ARE YOU NOT REJOINING THE SM & CU? And one other thing… THE EU IS ABOUT FAR MORE THAN TRADE! So please stop pratting about and get on with rejoining! (A wee ‘PS’ on another matter…if we’re the bosses, why are you ignoring us when it comes to Israel? Don’t give us guff about being the bosses, between elections you ignore us. You had better start listening to the people!) @andyburnham @Ed_Miliband @HFalconerMP

The nutcase @WestminsterWAG on @SkyNews still defending #Brexit, as if UK were something special. Where does she come from?
2
Dissembling faker @kevinhollinrake @BBCNewsnight says he doesn’t know what @andyburnham thinks about EU. Yes, he does. Burnham’s said he wants to rejoin. Trying to score political points.

Intakes of breath on @LBC when @IainDale inadvertently introduces @CarolineFlint as a Tory. It's not so strange though. You'll remember her conceding wholeheartedly to #Brexit a few years ago. (Her constituency was replete with boneheads who voted for it.) @RejoinP #RejoinEU

Depressingly weak showing from @BBCNewsnight panel for #RejoinEU. Even @campbellclaret, once a stout remainer, was lily-livered, worried about EU being right wing. That’s not the point, nor is economics, when it comes to belonging and freedom. #bollockstobrexit #Brexit

As far as I know, the “news” in @BBCNewsnight indicates it’s a news prog. Not for @vicderbyshire, who spends half an hour in a characteristically maudlin review of a 66-year-old event. Anniversary journalism, the cheapest form.

And a total waste of newsroom resources since followed by a documentary on the subject!

The Global Story on Trump and fuel @bbcworldservice ok but blighted by distracting sound design and @BenChu_’s parochial idea that gasoline in Europe is “petrol”. Executive producer Martine Powers and team need to go back to school, study geography and production. @BBCR4Feedback

Turn on @BBCRadio3 for some illumination on western classical music and get the extraordinary banality of @ColinCurrieGrp performing the static, amateur bore @SteveReich. @BBCR4Feedback

Can’t believe (well, I can because he’s got to get callers and sell ads) that @BenKentish on @LBC is asking are @reformparty_uk an extremist, racist party when everyone knows xenophobia is Reform’s USP. Super cheap fellow.

All day long, people have lazily been misrepresenting @SuellaBraverman’s statement that she isn’t “ethnically English”, taking it as not “English”. Big difference. Predictably @vicderbyshire on @BBCNewsnight says “English”. Very poor journalism.

Why is @andyburnham, according to his mates at @LBC, leading tributes to Esther Rantzen, member of the British media elite? Isn’t he supposed to be a socialist? Seems like a populist.
34
Self-declared English patriot @BenKentish on @LBC thinks UK shouldn’t rejoin EU because it would be embarrassing to concede #Brexit voters were wrong. That’s the problem with patriots, narrow-minded people who can only define themselves by tribal affiliation.
10
Incredibly fawning interview with @andyburnham by @ShelaghFogarty on @LBC. No rigour, lots of chumminess, easiest of rides. Need to get @afneil or similar on the case.

The @BBC is ruined. How much does a BBC weather presenter get paid not to know that “invigorate” is a transitive verb and say “The front will invigorate and bring more rain”? He didn’t even attempt to make it reflexive. @bbcweather is a journalistic disaster. @BBCR4Feedback

On @BBCNewsnight @vicderbyshire tries to whip up a drama with Darren Jones over ID card funding (he easily resists and sets her straight). Out of her depth as usual.

Can safely say that @BarclaysUK is the worst banking experience I have had. Ridiculously overdone security, broken website and useless CS.

We live in an elective dictatorship with only the trappings of democracy, slaves to an electoral system politicians are reluctant to change and bombarded by streams of mind numbing mental chewing gum. Hey ho!
