ALT Image reads: Our Guiding Principles āWe believe that: Young women are experts on their own lives. Young women have innate resources, competence and resilience. People affected by a problem are best placed to find the solutions. We must shift traditional power hierarchies in service delivery in order to enable young women's participation in solution-building. We must support young women to have their voices heard in order that they can influence the design and delivery of services.

ALT Image reads: The process of becoming a part of the YWAG was simple and enjoyable! My favourite part was being able to meet other people that will be a part of the group and actually start to connect with and create a comfortable dynamic amongst us. Iām also happy that expressing creativity is encouraged and was essentially the first part of the application process. I feel like Iāve gotten to express myself quite a bit before the group has even started, and everyone has been really kind and accepting. -YWAG member J (21 years old)

ALT Image reads: "Firstly, Iād like to thank the team at Abianda for giving me this opportunity, Iām beyond excited to begin working with my fellow advisors! Being able to guide and empower young women has been a lifelong passion of mine, and Iām honoured to be able to put that passion to work, and impact someoneās life in a positive way. I hope to become the role model I needed when I was younger, and to be able to help even just one young womanās life, would be a great honour." YWAG member s (20 years old)

I condemn Hamasā appalling killing of civilians in Israel, and I am horrified by the Israeli armyās indiscriminate killings of Palestinians in Gaza, where 2.2 million people ā almost half of whom are children ā are locked in one of the most densely populated areas on Earth, which has been described as an āopen-air prisonā by a United Nations expert. Israeli bombardment has obliterated whole Gazan neighbourhoods, with an Israeli defence spokesperson saying āthe emphasis is on damage, not accuracyā. The Israeli government has shut off supplies of food, water, electricity and fuel, putting Gaza on the brink of an unthinkable humanitarian catastrophe. ...
