Chima bled himself dry ensuring she is okay, worked extra hours when he should have rested. He allegedly sponsored her sewing training, financed her education in the University, bought her sewing machines and funded her lifestyle. When Chima wanted to marry her he found out he has been scammed by Mmesoma. She made him insane and that led to her d£ath. Now the society is calling for his head because he didn't commit suicide like many other victims of Nigerian women's romance scam. If Chima had committed suicide will the case be the same as now? Chima Ofoeke is victim of romance scam. Chima is NOT GUILTY. He is innocent until proven otherwise and his counsel should give notice of his affirmative defense of temporary insanity. We must pay attention to the high rise of romance scam in our country which is the major cause of 98% of the suicide cases of men.
