Michelle Yeoh taking a shot at Cate Blanchett during the Oscar race was a low blow, honestly. Cate delivered one of the greatest performances of the year in TÁR. Suggesting she didn't need another Oscar because she already had two felt disrespectful to a fellow actress whose work deserved to be judged on its own merits, not her trophy count. An Oscar race should be about the performances, not diminishing a competitor's achievements. Cate deserved better.
