Read books. Listen to music. If you're salaried, donate to orgs that help people more affected by this than yourself. Sleep. Get on the phone to friends and family. Chat. Let's take this time as an unprecedented break from productivity and reconnect #covid19Canada #communitycare

Miigwetch to everyone who came to our performance of #ChemicalValleyProject today @UofT! We’re grateful that Vanessa & Beze were able to join us to share their perspectives on this process + their experiences with the environmental racism taking place across Turtle Island today.

Hour 60 of the #IndigenousYouthforWetsuweten occupation. Meeting tomorrow morning w @stbstvdan but he is refusing to come to the office, insisting to meet the youth elsewhere (even tho we’ve been waiting here all week for him).. but we’ll keep holding it down till demands are met – at Winnipeg, Manitoba

#CoastalGasLink is invading our territories at gunpoint. We have been clear from the beginning that we do not consent to their project. We do not want pipelines under #Wetsuweten headwaters.
Let @CoastalGasLink know what you think of their lies in the comment section.

RCMP used massive, violent, militarized force to arrest six #WetsuwetenStrong supporters in a pre-dawn raid, and then released them without charges. They were maintaining a supply / watch post for @gidimten and the Unistoten healing center. This was pointless violence by @BCRCMP.
6:45 pm Legal update: All six people who were arrested in Gidim'ten territories this morning are being released with no charges. Three are out already.

How about turning down the heat on the #Wetsuweten instead?
This is an empty gesture while your government forces a pipeline across our lands at gunpoint, much like your commitment to reconciliation.
