I tend to have strange dreams. They're usually either violent or involve running to places I can never get to, or fighting with people I've never met. Last night I was shopping for curtains. Like, wtf.

These statistics fascinate me. I'm interested in seeing a map that shows mobility. How do you determine where a family with $17k income in one county could possibly live if they chose to move? ik it's loaded question, but i'll bet there's a way to visualize it.

America's income divide is also a geographic one. The wealthiest county in the US — Loudoun County, Virginia — has a median household income over 9x that of the poorest, Issaquena County, Mississippi: $156,000 versus $17,000.
