This time of year the view from our lovely meeting room can be amazing thanks to our neighbours’ beautiful cherry blossom. Use the code HEY2020 for 50% off bookings made in Jan/Feb 2020. If you time it right you’ll see the blossom! stroudcluster.com/meet

Grants of £5,000 to £20,000 available to small registered charities (or local arms of bigger charities) – to help with UK coronavirus-related poverty relief projects. Deadline for applications: 25 March. #Cirencester #Cotswolds

I am on a Slack for people who run coworking spaces globally. There are people there talking about how to get hand sanitizer and cleaning products.
✋ STOP
Nobody should be going to coworking spaces now. ALL coworking spaces should be closed, just like gyms, pubs etc. should.
😢We are now closed to prevent spread of COVID-19 & customers will be refunded. This was a very difficult decision but I think it is irresponsible to stay open and encourage people to make contact when their job allows them to work at home... even though we’d all prefer not to.

Here we go. I “risked my life” to measure the damage at that point in the road this morning. Hard to tell because of perspective but it is 4cm or very close in places @gcc @glosroads contrary to the response given where it is surely only 25mm in some places. I realised however...

I went out and measured this one this morning. It is right on the cusp of the magical emergency 7.5mm depth so you should get that sorted out as a priority? Cyclists have to avoid this every day. #stroud

I hadn’t seen this before, and was instead just aware of the general 2-3% mortality rate from coronavirus. Even if you aren’t in one of the high-risk groups, I hope you’re still paying extra attention to hand-washing – do it for everyone, not just yourself 🙌
ALT Mortality of coronavirus by age group, showing 80+ at 15%, 70+ at 8%, and 60+ as 3.6%.

Amazing news!
This sets the precedent for the rest of the UK. Airport expansion is not possible if we seriously want to tackle #climatechange 💚
Brilliant news! This is a ruling on the side of climate and intergenerational justice
There’s no hiding place for big emitters like #Heathrow
Bottom line is no airport expansion in UK is compatible with the climate science #NoThirdRunway

This is the first time the #ParisAgreement has had a binding, legal application! This would have been unthinkable a few years ago. Sending love to everyone who has campaigned against this expansion ❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚
