The deflationary pressure on @token_works ArgonautStrategy continues. As of this morning, over 313 million tokens have been burned. Almost 1/3 of the supply! This is insane for an 18-day-old strategy. MC still low, which has been contributing to the massive burns. Not sure what comes next, but I'm here for it.
Overnight, ArgonautStrategy climbed to the top of the @token_works burn chart. 28% of its supply is already gone, blowing passed Punk, Ape, Chimpers, and Vibe strategies in just a couple of weeks! MC under 150k, while @argonauts9999 remains one of the hottest collections rn. Feeling comfy in my cloaks and token position.

while I continue to commission works from artists on a longer time horizon, I wanted to begin acquiring works for the permanent collection now, with the help of @jokawaharalino who will he managing the research and acquisitions for this initiative.

I am VERY excited to be working with @lphaCentauriKid on a new collecting initiative dedicated to artists within our industry who might not get the attention they deserve.
At the heart of it is something I deeply admire: ACK’s desire to give back by using collecting as a way to meaningfully support artists and direct attention toward exceptional work that may not yet be receiving the recognition it deserves.
I’ll be looking across a range of disciplines, from photography and generative art, to other digital-native practices and beyond, with the aim of identifying and acquiring exceptional examples of artists’ work.
It’s an incredibly generous gesture, and one rooted in the idea that collecting can be more than acquisition. It is a form of patronage, encouragement, and belief in someone’s practice.
Very excited to see where this takes us.

Just purchased @cryptopunks #192. It's a 4-attribute "Dev" punk, among the first 1,000 claimed by Larva themselves. They held onto this one for roughly 4 years before finding it a new home. Cool AF aesthetic + great history!
