The 2026 midterms were about punishing Trump. They were not about how much U.S. voters like the Democrats or their policies. The party that is smarter about what to do with this conclusion will win the 2028 presidential election.
Last night’s election is why I genuinely believe the Founders built the greatest republic in history.
Checks and balances matter. Midterms give voters a chance to weigh in on the direction of the country halfway through a president’s term.
