Introducing Pilot Light 🔥 A free, open source macOS menu bar app that keeps closed-lid agents running on minimal power. • ~25 MB RAM • Heat and low-battery cutoffs • Power draw stats Claude built and tested a site with my lid shut: 2.3 W, 86% less than lid open. 👉 pilotlight.sudolabs.nz
I'm building a macOS app that optimizes power usage for agents and I've got claude building me a website with only 2.3 Watts on my M5 Max.

New Update: I've now added agent-notify as a Grok Bot Template you can install with one-click: x.ai/bot/alHx8zJA0xXEN8FT1HD… It's key feature is being able to send you email alerts, only when it matters, without access to your inbox.
Wow! I left Claude Opus 5.5 running overnight and... Now that I have your attention I didn't do that. I actually built a free email notification proxy for any of your agents, and you can click one button to deploy it right now on Cloudflare.

If you've tried everything and it still feels like the 𝕏 algorithm is burying you while only getting 10 views. Try creating a new account, I did and the engagement difference is night and day. It's actually fun being here again.

It's crazy how stunted my old account was (@sudo_overflow), engagement dropped to an all time low. Posting into a void even with premium+. I've since created this new account and it's like a whole new world. People are liking, replying, following just like when X was fun!

Now the easiest and cheapest way to save tokens. Jev AutoPilot takes advantage of Jev's state of the art insanely fast and cheap classifications to choose the right model for the prompt. Building as a mac menubar app for literal plug and play ease of use. What features would you expect?

Yes! I built my own, fully agentic video editor ✂️ auto-cuts 👁️ zooming 🎑 @Remotion overlay support 💬 auto-transcribes 📺 option to convert to vertical-short format ... I just randomly saw @mattpocockuk demo his video editor during a live stream and was like...wait, what?! I wanna build one for myself. So here we go 😆 So much fun building this and one of the examples of side projects I would have never attempted just given the amount of limited available time. (👇 btw this is just me "I built a thing"-showing off 😬, but hey I'm excited)

my first Mac app is live in the app store 🙌 if you are on mac and would love to give a shot to a subscription tracker that can also work offline, let me know and i'll get you access i'm still waiting for the iOS version to be released so I can test the thing which was the reason I had to release this in the first place: users can use both mac and ios versions with the same purchase. for some reason I couldn't test this from the simulator, but this was the end goal

Since I began my freelance journey I started working on a complete system for it. Everything you need to freelance in one place. Project management, lead follow ups, kanban boards, client portal, email alerts, and much more.

Built Jarvis directly into my Obsidian. Wake word capable, holds conversation with fully local TTS/STT and uses Claude Code as the backend which means Jarvis has all the skills Claude already does. Volume up 🔊

Oh yes, my personal favorite tool is cat. With cat, you cat your package.json out and if there is next js, you have a vulnerability!

🔥 Time to enter the next phase of my business journey. Please welcome our new cool developer: @AdityaTripathiD 💜 He is helping me for a few years here and there, but now it is official. (We are a team of 5 now 🤯) And that is not all. I asked him to make the most requested community app, and he did it in a month, so here you go: shoutrrr.com - An open source social media scheduler app. It is easy to self-host (literally one command) and backed by our philosophy of coolLabs. Currently only available for self-hosters, but soon the cloud version is coming. Lots of things needs to be added and improved, but it is in a very good shape for a MVP. I will keep you posted. Btw: this post was scheduled from Shoutrrr.
