i barely see kids playing with toys or board games anymore. it’s always a phone or an ipad in their hands. when was the last time you actually saw a group of kids sitting together playing a board game? i genuinely can’t remember. i remember growing up with entire buckets full of toys, random board games, and stuff we’d spend hours playing with. now it feels like all of that has been replaced by screens. and it’s not even just kids. even adults seem to have lost interest in sitting down and playing something together. kinda sad how we’ve lost that.

architecture diagrams have no business looking this good
A few people asked how I made the isometric objects and cities, so I packaged it into a Claude skill. Describe an object, device or building, and ISO-GLOW creates a single interactive HTML file. Try it out yourself! isoglow.dev

ai made starting projects stupid easy. finishing them is still on you. checking the output, the weird edge cases, fixing it when a real user breaks things. generating more code isn't the same as taking responsibility for it...

I agree. Same thing happens with folks new in tech. They would go like “I don’t have projects to showcase”….“what should i build for interviews” Whereas coding at project level is solved. Atp I believe being an anti-ai is similar to not using internet in 2008.
I was actually reading some comments during other people's projects, and many people I saw were anti-AI for coding. I really want to know how people think in 2026. You will not use any artificial intelligence or LLM agents to help you code. I understand if it's bad code or anything like that, but some of the projects I saw were really good. Some comments were like, "Oh my God, you used DI. You should just... This is not real coding," or something like that. It's 2026. Adapt to the thing.

the only DevDay announcement that actually mattered: ❌ $200 plan → 50% limits reduced ✅ $500 plan → same limits as old $200 but expensive INCREDIBLE!!!

OpenAI just dropped 20+ things at DevDay. probably their biggest developer dump yet. → Biggest Update - Dots: always-on agents with their own computers → ChatGPT Space: humans + agents working together → GPT-6.1 Sol: cheaper frontier intelligence → Agents API + Computer Use → Decisions API → Codex cloud environments + multi-agent CLI → Codex autonomous security scanning → Ultrafast inference → Meeting assistant → Collaborative Slides + Pages → ChatGPT in Slack + Teams → New $500/mo Pro tier insane amount of stuff for one keynote, Good luck catching up with all this

the thinking that "everyone will just vibe code their own software" was born from within a bubble what's happening to software development right now has happened many, many times before to other things. you just need to look web 2.0 allowed everyone to write blogs. did everyone write blogs? instagram allowed everyone to share beautiful photos. did everyone share beautiful photos? tiktok allowed everyone to make short videos. did everyone make short videos? now vibe coding allows everyone to build software, and you think everyone will start building software? this time around, people are just different? the mainstream is always a consumer, never a creator. go talk to some people outside of our tech bubble and you'll see - they literally don't give a f about vibe coding
