Built a physical simulation of a record player with WebGL2 and Web Audio. It's *shockingly* accurate: vinyl-gl.vercel.app. Instead of playing a song, it works by converting it into the physical shape of a groove. Then a simulated stylus rides those walls 384,000 times a second, and you hear the voltage that motion would induce in a cartridge. So the crackle, the pops, the wow/flutter, the dull inner grooves are natural byproducts of the simulation. You can also "DJ" the record. (The converted songs are in the public domain or CC-licensed. Code is linked for you to remix and re-deploy.)

Not quite ready for release, but I did build a custom engine on top of WebAudio. So that I can generate sound effects in real time based on the state of the world Also added a smoother transition to rain and some other visual touches
Working on a fully simulated little world as an art piece. Fully wrote the rendering engine from scratch, including custom lighting, pixel art normals, and emissive materials. I'll release it soon if there is interest.

this has been happening forever across the board. great model for a while then is starts to fade and get lazy and dumb. not sure i even want to know what they do behind the scenes to deceive customers. interestingly, they will soon provide proof of model though 🤷‍♂️ teapawt.net/sull/status/2041909123…

Cherry Pi has no cloud service currently but it does overlap with Conductor's core mechanics in it's own ways. We've added support for any who may be interested in joining the private beta of 🍒π. More info here: cherrypi.tech/blog/coming-fr…

Not at all. 4 years is very short. Social media glorifies shipping speed but real, durable ideas all take a decade or more. Very few quick wins that aren't just flash in the pan. Dig in deep and expect the good ideas to be full time work for a long, long time.
