Dear USians: Please ignore the "don't leave, stay and fight!" commentary if you're thinking about moving abroad. We live just one life – if you have the means and the true desire to leave the United States, do it.
It's an enormous privilege to have the opportunity to relocate. Not everyone can, even if they'd like to. Inequity is an unfortunate reality across the globe – but it is possible to look out for and support others whilst also looking out for yourself.

As today is the tax filing extension deadline, let this be my annual tweet about how much I love spending time and money to report all of my financial details to the US government even though I no longer live there and have no intention of returning and do not owe them any money.
