Serbia. Worrying to see the worst pro-EU / pro-NATO propagandist having an orgasm at the victory of the “student list”… Just saying. Follow @BrianJBerletic One of the very few who has done his homework on the topic. He has been always right, during the last 2 decades. In 1690 when the Austrian imperial campaign against the Ottoman Empire fell apart, the local Serbian population was left entirely unprotected. Facing immediate annihilation and massacres, Patriarch Arsenije III Čarnojević refused to surrender. Instead, he made a split-second decision to organize one of the most epic mass exoduses in European history: the Great Migration. The Patriarch personally led over 37,000 families—well over 100,000 people—out of their ancestral homes and north across the Danube in the dead of winter. To secure their future, he entered intense diplomatic negotiations with Habsburg Emperor Leopold I. He successfully walked away with the historic Leopoldine Privileges, including the foundational First Privilege Diploma, which secured: 1. full religious freedom 2. judicial autonomy and 3. the right to their own calendar in exchange for serving as a permanent military border guard. However, as soon as the immediate military threat from the Ottoman Empire cooled down, the Austrian court completely backtracked on these promises. Under heavy pressure from the Roman Catholic State Church and powerful Cardinals in Vienna, the Habsburgs grew terrified of the Patriarch’s immense spiritual and political influence over the population. To neutralise him, they legally banned his title of Patriarch, demoted him to "Metropolitan," and restricted his movement. Local authorities also launched aggressive conversion campaigns, deploying Jesuit priests to pressure the newly arrived, vulnerable refugees into submitting to the Pope. Despite the betrayal, Arsenije III spent the rest of his life using those signed imperial documents to take the Habsburg government to court, legally defending his people. “A shepherd does not abandon his flock when the wolves descend. If it is our destiny to be driven from our fields, let us march together. The walls of our churches may be left behind, but the living Church walks on the feet of these tired families.” When he passed away in 1706, he was buried with the highest honors inside the Krušedol Monastery, permanently turning the sanctuary into a sacred national mausoleum.

30 years after Dayton, Bosnia and Herzegovina faces a fundamental choice: democratic self-government or rule by unelected foreign officials. Republika Srpska’s 36th report to the UN Security Council demands an end to foreign-imposed laws and a return to sovereignty, constitutional order, and Dayton. 👇🏽
I promised that I would post this report once it was made public. The Republic of Srpska has consistently called for respecting the Dayton Agreement as written and not as it has been interrupted and changed through illegal actions by the HR and foreign interventions. Nation-building has failed. A highly decentralized state of BiH can function more efficiently once all accept that consensual decision-making by the legitimate and elected representatives of two entities and three constituent peoples can provide constructive governance. vladars.rs/eng/Documents/Rep…

Serbia > Many are going to regret their attack on @BrianJBerletic Igor Lopabok > The director of Ukraine "Winter on fire" confirms > It was a colour revolution. Some are looking like real clowns I am afraid.
Tonight I join @KimIversenShow. Serbia. Grassroots? No. It is color revolution. I am on the ground in Belgrade. Yesterday I filmed Novi Sad commemoration. Before, the slogans. I have footage. 19:30 Belgrade / 1:30 PM ET / 10:30 AM PT. Watch. Then argue.

🇺🇸🇷🇸Serbia's Alta Bank: How Student List and the US government Closed It Because a lot of people don't seem to get what happened with Atla Bank in Serbia and its closure and are claiming "Student List didn't even come into office yet!" ...let me give you an analogy. Let's pretend Student List is an angry mob and Alta Bank is a house. Student List and the US government through openly targeting Alta Bank for years and preparing sanctions just earlier this week - essentially torched the house. The people in the house are now in a burning building. They must grab all their things and flee before the burning building collapses and kills them. So no - Student List didn't go in and clear out the house themselves or tell them to leave - but because Student List and the US government both torched it in the first place they were left with no other choice. Hopefully that makes it a little clearer for anyone still not following along.

🇷🇺 Russia achieves #Quantum breakthrough Computing milestones Russia developed working quantum computers on four platforms: ions, neutral atoms, photons, and superconductors. Prototypes include a 50-qubit ion system (2024) and 70+ qubit ytterbium/calcium systems. MISIS created the first scalable superconducting processor with cloud access, achieving >99.99% accuracy. #Rosatom applied these systems to model reactor heat exchange, marking a shift from lab demos to industrial pilots. Secure communications The national quantum network exceeds 7,000 km, connecting Sochi, Yekaterinburg, and Chelyabinsk. Russian Railways launched a Moscow-St Petersburg link. A joint experiment with China transmitted data over 3,500 km via satellite. Plans are underway for a low-orbit quantum satellite by 2029. Major financial institutions adopted post-quantum cryptography.

🇧🇬 #IlianaYotova Wins Bulgaria's Presidential Election Bulgaria's incumbent President Iliana Yotova has won today's runoff against pro-Western former caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov, according to parallel vote counts. Pollsters Alpha Research, Myara and Trend put her at 57% to 59%, with Myara and Trend giving Gyurov about 38%. Official results are expected within three days. Yotova is not openly pro-Russian, but she favors dialogue with Moscow and opposes military aid to Ukraine. She said more weapons and money for Kiev only bring more destruction and deaths, and that peace can only come through negotiations that include Russia. She branded her opponents "warmongers" who want Russia to capitulate, and promised that no Bulgarian soldiers will go to Ukraine. She said she would speak to Putin if she had a mandate from the Bulgarian state and national consensus. AP expects her to back better relations with Russia and the lifting of sanctions, while keeping Bulgaria on its European path. Yotova, who served as vice president under Rumen Radev, took over the presidency in January when he resigned to run in the snap parliamentary election. Radev, now prime minister and skeptical of support for Ukraine, backed her through his Progressive Bulgaria party, so the win keeps the presidency in the hands of the ruling majority. She becomes the first woman directly elected as Bulgaria's president. Turnout was only about 29%, after a record low in the first round.

🇺🇸 US Senator Who Called Trump's Iran War Plan "Insane" Hospitalized After Stroke #ChrisMurphy , the 53-year-old Democratic senator from Connecticut, felt numbness in his arm at his son's hockey game on Saturday and was found to have had a stroke at a local hospital. He was then transferred to Johns Hopkins. His chief of staff, Allison Herwitt, says he is awake, alert and improving, and that his office is optimistic about a full recovery. The severity of the stroke has not been disclosed. Days earlier, Murphy, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations and Appropriations committees, said he had been briefed on Trump's plan to restart the war on Iran. He said he could not share details, but called the plan "insane" and warned that it would fail to meet its objectives and trigger a new cycle of escalation. His warning came as US media reported that Washington had told several Gulf Arab states to prepare for a short, intense offensive after the November 3 midterms. The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump was considering strikes on Iran's nuclear sites and civilian infrastructure.
