Either you surrender, or you fight till the end. I ask myself this question. And my belief is ‘La ilaha illAllah’, there is no God but one. We will FIGHT!

Itni baqwaas karta rehta poora din thaktay nai ho?
Reports circulating of initial terms involving Mecca Pact partners (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan), Iran & Russia: Attacks on Iran pause. Iran cuts support to the Houthis. Tehran gets ~$6B unfrozen and the Strait of Hormuz reopens. Russia takes Iran’s enriched uranium. Sanctions ease gradually, with IAEA inspectors eventually allowed back in. Talks ongoing in Tehran today. Details unconfirmed and fluid.

1/5 You're conflating the agency of Pakistan's military leadership with the agency of the Pakistani state and its people. My argument was never that Musharraf had no agency, but that American pressure existed and that our military leadership chose to accommodate it.
Replying to @sunflowerslore
Common man kahan se agaya? We’re talking about the Pakistani foreign policy here which you claim was forced to do things against its will and lacked agency.

4/5 But whose interests were being served? The military leadership's? Washington's? Or those of ordinary Pakistanis who bore the consequences of militancy, military operations and drone strikes? A dictator exercisin agency doesn't automatically mean he's acting in our interest

5/5 And this still doesn't mean that the chief or dictator of the day doesn't face pressures from USA. They do face those pressures as well as Musharraf faced such pressures during the end of his tenure.

Also you're wrong Musharraf accepted all of USA's. Demands 2 years before the assassination attempts on him
Replying to @sunflowerslore
again they were allowed only after Musharraf decided to intervene and go after AQ in ex-FATA after they tried to kill him twice

‼️ The House of Saud Bends the Knee in Tehran Türkiye and Pakistan are just there to console the Saudis in their moment of humiliation. Meanwhile, somewhere in the great beyond, Ali Khamenei and Qasem Soleimani are sharing a triumphant high five.

Shi is so broken flawed and stupid cant figure out from where to dismantle😭😭😭
For all the jokes that people made about Pakistan's historical attempts for "ummah chumma," it's those attempts that are the only hope for the Middle East to see perpetual and sustainable peace.

Ofc a massive power vacuum is emerging and it will be filled by various actors (state and non state both) but that doesn't mean conflicts will be resolved infact conflicts will grow in number and perhaps size too. The reason being that there is a collective action problem.
Very important meeting today between representatives of the Mecca Pact (KSA, Pakistan, and Turkey) and Iran in Tehran. But an invitation for Tehran to join the pact was not on the agenda. Rather, an emergency session in which the three are requesting Iran's help to end the conflict with Ansarollah, which is threatening to destabilize Saudi Arabia. From the Iranian perspective, KSA has committed the same mistake as Trump: Starting a war that it cannot control or end. Tehran is willing to help, a source in Iran tells me, but Ansarullah's condition for KSA to lift the air blockade on Yemen before any fighting ends is unchanging. (Ansarullah is focused on the air blockade, not the sea blockade) Still, this meeting reflects something even more important, and something we and other restrainers have pointed out for years: As the US pulls back militarily, contrary to Washington's conventional wisdom, regional states are showing greater agency and taking responsibility for the region's security themselves. This does not mean all problems will be resolved or that conflict and chaos will be avoided, but it will be their conflicts, their chaos, and their responsibility, not the US's.

Lula vs. Bolsonaro: I was held in solitary confinement for 1,901 days for revealing the truth about the U.S. government's killings and espionage, including against Brazil and its industries. Out of power, Lula fought for my freedom. In power, Lula discussed my persecution with Pope Francis, who decided to meet with my family and offer help. After my release, Lula and I met in Rome to mourn the Holy Father's passing. Lula was kind to my children and asked for nothing in return. In contrast, Jair and Flávio Bolsonaro did nothing and said nothing. Yet without the ability to say no to Washington and Tel Aviv, there can be no domestic policy, only foreign instructions. Those orders are always the same: "Expand our theft of resources and wages, and keep your mouths shut about us murdering children." Sellouts will surrender everything in exchange for a cut, even their own tongues.

Julian Assange acknowledged Lula's support for him while he was imprisoned and gave his full endorsement but with a subtle message - "Yet without the ability to say no to Washington". Lula has caved and tried to please US. Assange is reminding him not to repeat that

This person is a vocal Iran supporter. Is she aware that Iran once seeked Israel's assistance? For me its not an issue as I'm 3 years old and understand compulsions of Global South nations for survival. Maybe someone who's not very well informed should be a bit more humble?
yes seeking congress intervention from same US who overthrew you is changing your original stance or even trying to imply "bajwa told US im anti american" what sort of anti imperialist leader says this crap

"Congress Intervention" is a dishonest way to frame this. The original act by US in 2022 led to a regime change and a complete dismantling of Democracy, Rule of Law, Judiciary in Pakistan. Congress is being asked to correct that and now enable human rights violations in Pakistan

You have to be a US lover to act like the US "suggests lightly". Even dictator Musharraf knew that there are no suggestions when youre dealing with war criminals

This guy celebrated as a progressive by many on here is regurgitating Bajwa's narrative he put out first through Kamran Khan and later through Shahid Maitla. This narrative is so badly debunked now that even regime touts repeat it. Yet this guy still holds onto this fantasy
Actually his "crime" was falling out with the military leadership over the appointment of the next Army Chief, but I suppose that's a less catchy narrative for foreigners

"Personal opinion" in a diplomatic cipher 😭😭 There are no bigger grifters than Pakistani left
Cipher shows a junior US official giving a personal opinion on an ongoing development in Pak politics. No evidence that US had any role in instigating the VONC, or this opinion had any influence on Pak establishment. Such remarks by US officials are pretty common.

Accusing me of having a short political memory is the biggest cope I've heard in a while. People who know me know how insufferable I am about historical precedents. I have a habit of tracing things so far back that I sometimes forget what the original discussion was even about😭

It's quite a cope to suggest that acknowledging US interference in 2022 means one's understanding of Pakistan's history begins in 2014. I've always argued that Pakistan has had to face serious external pressures especially during the WoT period.
